The lovingly furnished Holiday Apartment 10 in Haus Nicole in Cuxhaven Duhnen—affectionately called the “SPATZENNEST” by our guests—is located on the second floor and is one of the most popular accommodation in the building. Spanning 38 m², this small, cosy attic apartment offers a unique charm—perfect for a relaxing getaway by the North Sea.
A real highlight is the large, covered balcony with a beautiful view of the garden. Here you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the morning, breathe in the fresh North Sea air, or wind down comfortably in the evening—sheltered yet surrounded by greenery.
The living-dining area is furnished with a leather sofa, a small coffee table, a cabinet with a flat-screen TV, and a dining area with a kitchenette. The modern fold-down bed can be folded up during the day, giving the room a spacious and open feel. In the evening, you’ll sleep with a view of the “starry sky”—a small, romantic detail that many guests particularly appreciate.
A bathroom with a shower, a hallway with a practical built-in closet, and well-thought-out storage solutions round out the amenities. Despite its compact size, the Spatzennest offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
For added comfort, you’ll have access to free Wi-Fi, a parking space right next to the house, bike storage, and a well-maintained communal garden. The garden features sun loungers, seating areas, a beach chair, a wooden gazebo, and designated smoking areas—ideal for unwinding.
The holiday rental’s location is excellent: The apartment is located on the quiet and popular street Voßhörn, just 200 metres from the sandy beach and 200–300 metres from the town centre. The well-known ahoi! Wellenbad with its wellness and spa facilities is also just a few steps away—perfect for wellness enthusiasts, families, and guests who want to enjoy themselves even when the weather is changeable.
One small dog is welcome; however, since not all units are pet-friendly, confirmation is subject to availability upon request. The fee is €12.00 per dog per day. Please note that a laundry package cannot be provided for guests travelling with dogs. For all other guests, a laundry package can be booked for €32.50 per person.
The surrounding area is ideal for walks, days at the beach, and long bike rides. A nearby bike rental shop offers high-quality, well-maintained bikes, so you can start your tour right from the house. The diverse landscape around Cuxhaven—from the North Sea coast to the Wadden Sea and idyllic dike paths—makes the region an ideal destination for active holidaymakers.
