Laundry service available and did a good job. The inner courtyard makes this hotel a noisy place between kitchen dishes, tv in the courtyard, doorbell, and general noise of other customers. The hotel would benefit from any noise reduction in the courtyard, on the room doors. Although the shower and bathroom could use a good cleaning as they were traces of mold on the ceiling. The toilet was faced directly in front of the wall, so you were basically kissing the wall while sitting down. The pressure from the shower was OUTSTANDING and the water was nice and hot. The bed was comfortable, and the people were very nice. There was a step going into the bathroom that I trip over the first time entering the bathroom and that was a bit annoying but got used to it after time. The location of the hotel was great as it was only a 15-minute walk from Plaza de Armas. I would stay there again as it was affordable, welcoming and warm. Bring ear plugs. I have no idea what goes on at 4:30am. Wedging some cardboard in the door helps with the constant rattling. Staff are nice and helpful. Would be nice to have extra towels because floor is slippery and there’s no carpet. Convenient location. Lots of city hustle. The staff was friendly, attentive and makes you feel like family. The rooms were clean and cozy, breakfast fresh and healthy. The location was perfect — close to the San Pedro market and walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Loved the indoor terrace for relaxing after a day of exploring. Thank you Almicar and Carmen to make my stay unforgettable. When we got there the guy at the desk said he doesn’t see our booking. He finally found it and checked us in. The rooms were freezing, we booked 3 rooms and he gave us one heater & said other guests are using the others. When I booked, the checkout said 10:30am and when we got there he said we needed to be out by 9am.
