"The apartment was as advertised and the owners were very communicative and helpful. Loved the fact that we could walk to just about anywhere downtown (made trips to Escalante, Central Market area, San Pedro Mall...and the Zoo is literally next door. We paid to visit in the morning and they let us go back in that afternoon without paying. Only "issues" we had was no AC (bedroom ceiling fan)and my 1st world comforts spouse had issues with throwing TP in the waste receptacle rather than flushing....

"This is a nice little apartment that has an amazing view! We especially liked the easy walk to all the shops and markets a few blocks away. The building if very safe and secure with a guard at the door. They also have many extra rooms to meet in, a pool, and pet park. We didn't have time to use them but looked enjoyed looking around and seeing the interesting décor. The first picture with the umbrella's is one of those rooms in the apartment complex to give you an idea of what the building is...

"5 stars...the listing and photos are accurate. It provides economical lodging in a Fantastic location to explore museums and culture. Walking distance to Teminal Atlantico Norte...improtant to us as we were traveling onward to Cahuita. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment if you want to travel around the city. Plenty of soda's and small eateries close by. Great for a few nights to really get to know the history of Costa Rica and San Juan. The apartment meets all basic needs...

"Not exactly as described on VRBO. The directions for the entrance were confusing. Suggest Waze or google maps to search for Brain Lab CR in Escazú. That will take you to the entrance of the driveway. No laundry facilities on site. Is located near the center of Escazu and restraunts."

"Everyone working at this hotel were super friendly and helpful throughout my 2 week stay. Excellent Customer service and welcoming environment. I especially enjoyed the following staff members who always were there when I needed anything and were so kind and went out of their way to make me feel safe and at home. Karen and Estela from the cleaning staff was very helpful and left everything clean. Isabel, Kenyell, Tamara, and Melissa from the kitchen staff were always attentive and helpful. Always made sure we had what we needed. Jessica and Eva from the bar always made me feel like i was drinking with a friend and always helped make my mother very fresh and tasteful virgin drinks with friut because they knew she was on meds. Jessica especially makes the best chiliguaro and guaro sours. Mario from pool maintenance always made sure to clean out the bugs because he knew i was scared even if it was a mosquito lol and he always made sure the pool was warm so i can enjoy my long stay there. He was very attentive. Karla from security is such an amazing soul her happy personality made me feel safe and at home. Lastly, Anthony who oversaw everything really was also so helpful in whatever i needed with such a positive attitude. I will definitely be staying there again. "
