"Nice room and bathroom but the soundproofing didn’t prevent the noise from loud doors banging"

"Apartment was a good size for two adults sharing for a few nights. I don’t think it would suit for a longer stay, with more personal items clothing etc. air conditioning was ok, but it’s a shame the window only opens a small amount as even during chilly spring nights, the room became quite hot. Shower and bathroom were excellent. Major issue though was the bed and how hard the mattress was. Both of us left with sore necks and backs!"

"Convenient for public transport and the centre of Edinburgh. Room (Victoria) is well equipped, clean and a good size. Didn’t see any staff - not a problem, but still a bit unusual for me at least."

"I honestly wasn't expecting such a lovely hotel. Our Air BnB fell through (no heat nor hot water), and I was able to snag a solo room last-minute. Room, staff, dinner, and breakfast were all lovely. Even though a wedding was going on in one of the function rooms, the staff kept churning out superior service. Such a gem. Highly recommend!"
