The staff was great. Room was clean. Tv was horrible. When we mentioned this to the staff we were told yeah tvs are terrible. Breakfast buffet was inedible. We have stayed sleep inns before and this is the worst of all. We won’t be back.

The carpet was torn between the room and the bathroom with the carpet tack strip exposed. There was a hole in the wall, the shower had a patch in the fiberglass, the shampoo dispenser was broken, the chair by the desk was disgusting and we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. We will not stay at another Sleep Inn.

This was an overnight stop on a trip to the coast. Adequate and safe, breakfast was typical waffles/cereal/sausage and eggs and was located close to restaurants, Walmart, etc. As with most places there aren’t enough staff. Standard Room was clean and very comfortable. A good value.

The person who checked us in was great, she was friendly and helpful, however the person at the desk when we left was not helpful at all, I had asked for a printed receipt because I hadn’t yet received an email one. I was told she couldn’t print one and that I would to get it online. The room was good overall but I did kill a couple of bugs on the wall and the thermostat must not have been working correctly, the room seem a little warm when we arrived so I turned the air on 74..this morning it was 77 in the room. Also, we had hoped to get a little ice but the machine wasn’t working.

We saw two Bed Bugs in our room! We also saw two Lady Bugs. We know the difference. We have photos of both. When we reported this to the lady at the front desk, she was very RUDE to us! She said they were all Lady Bugs. They were not! We know the difference and have photos. The lock malfunctioned and the door did not close properly. Also, we had requested an accessible room and were put on the third floor. We just could not stay in this hotel!!!! We asked for a refund and the lady at the desk told us Expedia would have to take care of that for us! Please let us know the procedure to get our refund!

My experience was disappointing. The front staff worker was very unwelcoming, and as the face of the hotel, that first interaction matters. I was treated rudely at the front desk while checking in, and this occurred in front of my children, which was especially upsetting. The guest services manager on duty appeared inconvenienced by my presence, which was completely uncalled for. I did report the interaction to upper management. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant internal training on customer service is implemented. If rude or dismissive behavior doesn’t bother you, this may still work as a budget-friendly option. After this experience, I realize I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking and would suggest you do the same prior to booking this hotel for your stay in Cullman.

Apparently there was an issue with hotels.com sending peoper payment to the hotel, so the manager canceled our reservation (though it was paid for in nov) without a phone call from the manager though he stated he called. The front deskman Jamie was very patient and worked with me until we got the issue resolved. Issue was with hotels.com and manager not mine or the front desk.
