"We had a great stay at this resort. Our Tropicana area standard room with 2 twin beds was little on the small side but clean and quiet. The balcony faced the adults only pool and garden which was nice. If you’re going to sit out there around dusk, make sure you wear some bug spray. The pool area with swim up bar was neat and tidy but could have used a few more shady areas with loungers. "

"First, we arrived by car and the road leading to Lagarta Lodge was rough to navigate, but once we arrived we were thrilled. Daniel greeted us in the lobby with a special drink and a hot moist cloth to was our hands. Our room had a panoramic view of the ocean and sunset. Our balcony was furnished with chairs, a table and a hammock. There were 3 infinity pools (one with a bar and one was a hot tub). Dining on site while watching the sunset was nothing short of remarkable. There was a complimentary shuttle that could take you in and out of Nosara. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach and the easy walk along the extended, sandy beach was very enjoyable. Staff were very prompt and attentive."

"Clean room and a small Kitchenette with everything we needed. The staff were all wonderful especially Deigan at the reception desk. Great sense of humour and big smile! The security guards were so helpful with moving beach chairs and cushions for us. The proximity to town is perfect. Far enough away from the noise but only a 7 minute walk. It’s not luxury by any means but is a very functional safe and cozy spot for a reasonable price! "

"Clean room. The pool area was lovely the photos don’t do it justice. Just steps from the beach and many restaurants. Also they had a small outdoor kitchen with pots and utensils you could use which I wish I had known about before hand as I would have brought more groceries. Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot as well. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We loved it!"
