"Perfect location, center-strip"
I was skeptical about staying here because of some of the poor reviews I read. But I gotta say, both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and overall quality of the Flamingo! We stayed in the GO room king, with a High Roller view on the 24th floor.
The room itself was spectacular! The bed was comfortable, the flat-screen TV was big and had a DVD player, the closet had plenty of space (and a programmable safe for our laptops), daily WI-Fi was included in the resort fee ($32/day) for up to two devices, and the bathroom was awesome. It has a sliding frosted glass door, a separate shower and tub, and a stinkin' TV in the mirror! Really stylish room all around.
We loved the pools, too. We used both the Beach Club (all ages) and the GO pool (21+). Both were crowded because of Memorial Day weekend, but it wasn't too bad. The restaurant options were good as well. We ate at Margaritaville twice, Carlos & Charlie's once (where we used 2-for-1 frozen margarita coupons from the hotel), and Pizza Joint. Everything was tasty, but kinda pricey. We expected that for Vegas, though.
Last but not least, we loved our location on the Strip. We were across the street from Ceaser's and Bellagio, and just a short walk to Planet Hollywood, Cosmopolitan, and Aria. Couldn't ask for a more centralized location for the price. We'll definitely stay here again!
