I thought I was booking through the Vdara hotel and in fact I was booking an owner owed suite so any questions about my booking including late or early checkouts could not be handled by the hotel because it was not controlled through the hotel. It seems as though the property is not being well maintained. Our room was not properly setup and looked run down. There was a kitchenette with a coffee machine but no coffee grinds, cups, etc. There were no slippers or robes in the room. Also, valet took a very long time to get our car each day. Our TV wasn’t working. Last, there was a used q-tip on the floor (yuck). We booked through Expedia and the staff kept telling us that we had an “owners room”. From not working tvs in the room with service that keeps stalling. To hotel staff and lack of customer service provided by hotel. Staff seems disengaged and bothered to serve. We traveled as family and called for kettle and mugs. It took 3 times for hotel Staff to get it right. 2 front desk representatives didn’t process work order. Then I had to call additional for sugar and honey. Spent 20min on hold! Wow! Ok… I thought maybe it’s Saturday and it’s busy, so decided to use digital assistant. Nope.. took 2 times submission and then front desk called: “there will be additional charge for honey”. Ok charge me! However, honey never arrived. I am typically patient person, but at this point I went to speak to manager and got answer:”manager in the meeting” and lady at the bell desk couldn’t care less that customer is asking for manager and isn’t happy.
