We stayed at several locations on out journey from Sydney to Cairns, and this place stood out as an absolute Gem. Paul and Craig were just wonderful hosts, the location was stunning and the accommodation was spacious, luxurious and supremely comfortable. Pauls food was brilliant. I cant recommend this place too much. Stay there! Roddy and Rachel

Great room, great location of motel for our “road trip” Suzie, the boss, very helpful.

Room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Only downside was that there were no pots, pans etc. supplied with the kitchenette… this meant we couldn’t use it as planned and would have probably booked a cheaper room elsewhere without these features if we had known. There were some snacks drinks etc. in the room but they were quite expensive so didn’t use these. There is a Cole’s around the corner. Shame the hotel felt the need to charge crazy prices for what would have been a nice treat....

Well known hotel complex in the forest. Worth going for the wildlife , birds etc. Good tour schedule you can join. We did the bird walks early mornings. We chose a garden view room which was dark with wood walls and not enough lighting. The bathroom was adequate but a little out dated. The restaurant was good , staff friendly and bird life and walking opportunities beyond any expectations we could have had.

Really nice room, we had one that backed onto the river. Room had recently been decorated and new bathroom tiles installed.

Spotless room. Amazing location with views you’d never tire of There was an issue with our room and it was sorted immediately You do need to self cater as the tea room has very limited opening hours. However, the lodges are well equipped to do so

The room had more facilties than a five star hotel. The attention to detail was impeccable. We only spent one night as we had other commitments but we'll definitely stay there next time we're in the area

Cabin was large and clean . Shower was good and hot. Bed was comfortable if a little soft for my taste. Great perhaps for getaway, but lack of WiFi in room, and eateries near by a slight negative, unless that what you’re after. To be fair storm Albert didn’t help, but did underscore whether location good or bad, depends on what you were looking for.

Beautifully picturesque and quiet.

Very good transit hotel for Coolangatta airport. Easy access. Very friendly staff. God rooms and access. Beach. Only downside is no easy access for eating.

Great stay with a 9 year old, enough to keep him entertained for the week. Staff were extremely helpful.

Lovely place! Everything you need in a lovely setting. The swimming holes was a massive surprise and enjoyed them
