"Didn’t have breakfast. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Bed was really comfy with nice pillows and nice clean bedding. Shower was great and the shampoo and shower gel provided was lovely. There wasn’t a seat in front of a mirror though so I had to sit in the middle of the room at the full length mirror. There wasn’t a plug socket near the mirror either to blow dry my hair. It was a bit warm overnight and there was a bit of road noise with the window open, but the curtains made the room lovely and dark. Staff were efficient but not notably friendly. Overall a good, reasonably priced overnight stay with all we needed. We would have liked information about car parking prior to coming as the car park we ended up in after driving around had a max 18 hour stay so we had to get up in the morning and go and put more money on the ticket. "Room was spotless and appeared to have been recently decorated. Unfortunately there were cracks in the sink and the hotel generally looks a little tired. The hotel staff were amazing … all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Particularly Aziz at breakfast and the wonderful bartender Mal. He couldn’t do enough for us, moving furniture around and asking us if we wanted any particular music to be played. He really went above and beyond to make my 89 year old mum’s evening. "

"When we got to the room the heating was on full and with the hotel being wooden it was like walking into a sauna. The bed was a very springy and you needed to hold tight if your wife was turning over. All in all we wasn’t able to sleep so left at 23:00 to go home. "
