Cropwell Bishop Holidays from £238

I didn’t realize this wasn’t a standard hotel i.e. no check-in desk. However, the location was excellent, if a bit loud on the weekend and the room was clean and well stocked. It’s close to the castle and market Square and right beside the bus to the airport. The only downside was climbing three flights of stairs

The flat was a good size the reason for the poor review was there was no hot water. It was late 11pm but I had just travelled from London so was late to the property.

Room was not as depicted, the Junior suite is in the basement, this wasn’t made clear on the website! The noise from stomping footsteps from the room above annoying in the evening. The light next to bed didn’t work, there were no slippers and the mini bar was empty. The check in email was not sent as stated on the website. The day before we were due to arrive I called to confirm the check in process and ask why we hadn’t been sent the link. No reason was given as to why this was not sent. I was informed to “not worry about it” and was sent a What’s App message with the details. This message said I hadn’t paid for the room when I had and created more uncertainty. A poor experience in general.
