We booked a standard room, it was spacious, clean and had dual aspect windows. We didn’t manage to eat at the main hotel however the meal we had at the sister restaurant was really good value. The main bar looks like it’s recently been refurbished, a great place to chill out and the bartenders were very friendly. The Victorian spa was definitely worth visiting but I’m not sure that charging hotel guests for its use is entirely justifiable. I would suggest taking a taxi if you have luggage. The property itself is beautiful and clean. Our room was quiet even though it was located near to the pub. We enjoyed walking the grounds as well. Lots of nice walking trails. The location is walkable to town and to the Blair Distillery which made things easy.
