Ski access just out the back door. The kitchen is extensively remodeled - boasting new cabinets, an over-sized sink, and stainless steel appliances. The three bedrooms are spacious with large closets. The bathrooms were remodeled in 2017\. There is one full bathroom with top-of-the-line finishes. The second bathroom is 3/4 and also has a washer and dryer. A large, open living-dining area is planned around a massive stone fireplace. The fireplace is wood-burning, and we supply the wood. The bedrooms are spacious with large closets. Two sliding glass doors give access to the large balcony. Enjoy incredible views of the town of Mt. Crested Butte and Washington Gulch. You'll also enjoy views of the slopes and West Wall lift! The unit is fully furnished, down to the linens and dishes. NOTE: Hot Tub is indoor and only open during ski season! BBQ grills are snowed in during winter. Ski-in/ski-out access typically begins around late December, depending on snowfall. We also have a free shuttle that can drop you at the base in ski season! Check-in instructions will be sent to the email address provided in your reservation! Please check your junk mail folder. There are about 2.5 flights of exterior stairs to access J-201. There are two parking spaces available for guests. Please note: There is no AC in this condo. There is no elevator on the premises. The balcony/deck area is a shared space. Please NOTE: Our condo complex is located in the high country of the Rocky Mountains. During winter, weather can change abruptly and road conditions can and will get treacherous. Please winterize your vehicle. Often, AWD or 4WD alone is not enough!! To get to our location, we strongly recommend one of the following: snow tires or chains for your tires. Jokerville Building Bedroom One: 1 King Bedroom Two: 1 King Bedroom Three: 2 Twin Bunks 2 Bathrooms Sleeps up to 8 people Full Kitchen 1490 Square Feet No Pets Allowed This condo is ski-in/ski-out, and the Jokerville building has great ski access - perfect for beginners. Your condo is near the West Wall lift. Complex amenities are sure to complete your experience. An on-site office and staff make it easy to check-in/out and answer any questions that arise during your stay. We have our own private shuttle service that is free with your stay. The shuttle runs daily during the ski season from 8:00 a.m. until midnight. During peak summer, the shuttle runs 4:00 p.m. - midnight, Fridays and Saturdays. They’ll even pick up and drop off right outside your condo! During the winter, you can enjoy a soak in the indoor hot tub, located on the first floor of each building. Sign up for private 30-minute soaks. The sauna is open year round. For added convenience, every building has 2 coin-operated washers and dryers for guest use. Reviewer Comments: The property/cabin are a bit dated but the cabin itself is great for a few friends or a small family. The kitchen is newly renovated and is very nice. The beds are also super comfortable which helps after a long day skiing. No elevator so a lot of stairs to climb which was tough for us with a lot of groceries. The "ski in/out" is a bit deceiving. You can definitely ski out of the back door right down to the west lift but ski in is not really possible - unless you ski an ungroomed black that is pretty dicey. The walk back up the hill was a killer. Maybe just end-up at the base and call the shuttle for ride. The shuttle was very convenient and the driver was super nice.
