New Renovated Bathrooms! Shared Hot Tub! Location, location, location! This two bedroom slope-side condo in the Crested Mountain complex is a true ski-in/ski-out destination, and the location can’t be beat! It sits directly on the ski slope of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, above the base-area. Just walk out your door, around the corner, and you ski down to the base-area lifts! No walking up to the lifts while carrying all of your gear from this place. When you are done skiing, you just ski directly to the condo without going through the base area, and you can also store your skis in outdoor ski racks provided by Crested Mountain complex. This premier location also comes with incredible views. Watch the skiers and snowboarders right from the windows and balcony in the condo. Enjoy your beautiful view of Mt. Crested Butte and the gorgeous surrounding mountains. You’ll have a prime view from your balcony of the leaves changing in the fall, the wildflowers blooming in the summer and of course the snowcapped mountains all winter. We love this perfect location so much that we have two units in the same building -- ideal for families or friends traveling together. The units are next door to each other. The condo is set up on two floors. You enter by walking up 2 sets of stairs and then you open the door into the main living space. There is a fully-stocked kitchen with new appliances, a dining space, living room, half bathroom, and balcony area. A large flat-screen TV sits above the wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the gorgeous view from the cozy living room. The balcony, just off the living room, is on the 2nd level of the building which provides both privacy and an unblocked view of the mountain. It is the perfect spot to watch the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and the spectacular fireworks shows that Mt. Crested Butte puts on several times a year. You can also enjoy all the outdoor summer concerts that Mt. Crested Butte puts on at the base of the mountain, right from the balcony. The 2nd floor of the condo has two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, NEWLY RENOVATED! The master bedroom has a king size bed. The bathroom for this room is en suite and is equipped with a combination shower and bathtub. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. The bathroom for that bedroom is accessed just across the hall and is equipped with a shower. To relax after an incredible day of skiing or biking or hiking, you can sit in the building's outdoor hot tub. There is also a grill right next to the hot tub area where you can grill out. The hot tub is open seasonally – in the winter it is open from Opening Day to Closing Day on the mountain, and in the summer it is open mid-June through Labor Day. New in 2017, the Crested Mountain complex has had a complete facelift on the exterior, a new hot tub area, a new look, and it is beautiful! Book through Peak Property Management and Sales and receive special discounts for ski and snowboard rentals through Christy Sports and Black Tie Ski Rentals! There is parking for 1 vehicle UNDER 19 FEET. No trailers or RVs are allowed at this property due to town regulations and/or HOA covenants. No pets are allowed. The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, except children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian. This property is currently listed for sale. We will make every effort to schedule any showings around existing reservations; however, showings may occasionally be required with at least 24 hours’ notice. We are excited to share our beautiful little piece of CB heaven with you! CRESTED MOUNTAIN PARKING POLICY. Due to minimal parking available, no more than one vehicle of any kind shall be kept, maintained, or allowed on the exterior of the Crested Mountain Condominiums owner’s garage for each residential condominium unit. Vehicles may not exceed 19 feet in length, measured from the front bumper to the end of the vehicle, including trailer hitches and bike carriers. Regardless of vehicle length, the end of the vehicle may extend no further than 20 feet from the garage door. For example, a vehicle that is 19 feet long must be parked no more than 1 foot from the garage door. The purpose of this rule is to ensure that each Unit’s parking space is not obstructed and that there is enough room in the parking lot so that each parking space in front of every garage is fully accessible by car. Each vehicle must have a parking permit that is clearly displayed and visible from the exterior at all times while parked on the premises. The parking permit must contain the following information: (1) the Unit number, (2) the phone number for the current occupant of that Unit (the person who has the keys to move the car), and (3) the name and number of the Property Management Company for the Unit. \*\*\*\*IF YOU ARE BOOKING THROUGH VRBO, WE RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING DAMAGE PROTECTION THROUGH THEM. The balcony looks right out over the ski school and the main hill that you ski down to the base area. We got to wave at my husband on the balcony from the top of the hill so he could video us skiing down! So easy to take ski breaks and go back to the condo for rest and food. It was clean and well kept. We loved the town and the mountain areas in Crested Butte. One of the benefits this location is you can hike right outside your door. Jennifer was so easy to work with and quick to respond if I had any questions. The location is amazing! Downhill to the lifts. The condo itself has everything you need. We have rented a lot from VBRO and this condo was be far the best stocked. Nice size TVs and a washer and dryer next to the kitchen. The appliances were updated and easy to use. It was spacious, clean, and quiet. Loved: designated parking out front, premium linens and towels, DirecTv, fireplace, balcony facing ski slope, proximity to shuttle stop, and restaurants. Local recommendations: Elk Prime Restaurant \~ pricey but great food, Montanya Distillery (fabulous cocktails), Jefes, Majestic Movie Theater (quaint place to see a movie), town shuttle between Crested Butte town and mountain.
