This one bedroom, one bath condo has new granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath along with new heated tile floors throughout. Relax on the quiet balcony with mountain views. Ski lifts are only 100 yards away or walk across the street and catch the free shuttle that will take you to the base area or to town. After a hard day of skiing or hiking, enjoy drinks on the deck or invite friends and family to the outdoor patio that boasts a grill and hot tub. There are also saunas on the premises along with his/hers bathrooms and showers. A new bed in the master will give anyone a good night's sleep and the fold out sofa bed will sleep extra family or friends. Laundry facilities are located right next to the unit. There is free high speed internet throughout the complex. Free, uncovered parking is available at the complex. Price includes pillow tax #19-899\. Directions from Denver International Airport: Get onto I-70 headed west. Take exit 260 to merge onto CO-470E toward Colorado Springs. Take the exit onto US-285 S toward Fairplay. Continue on US-285 S until its junction with US-50 W, where you will take a right. Take US-50 into Gunnison. Turn right onto CO-135, which will take you into the town of Crested Butte. Continue on CO-135 and head up the mountain for about 2 miles. Make a right on Snowmass Rd. The condo complex is the first on your left. Directions from Gunnison Airport: Take S Boulevard St to W Tomichi Avenue. Take a right on W. Tomichi. Turn left at N Main St. Continue straight on CO-135 through the town of Crested Butte. We have just left this wonderful condo after staying 2 weeks, and have moved on to our next vrbo rental in another location. Already we miss what made this Crested Butte rental a stand out. Although the location was great for hiking and biking and enjoying the town of Crested Butte, the bed was comfy, the shower amazing, the balcony to drink our coffee in the morning was great, and the bus from town dropped us right off at the complex, what REALLY made this apartment different was how well supplied it was. My husband and I travel a lot, and have stayed in countless vrbo condos, and we have never not had to go buy all the basics (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc.) within a few days of our stay. We did not need to buy ANYTHING for 2 weeks, which meant we were enjoying CB and all it had to offer, rather than running to the store for toilet paper. Not only did this condo have all the basics, it went above and beyond that. There were too many "extras" to mention, but trust me, you wouldn't need to bring a thing, other than your food! Lastly, a shout out to Brittney, who was our contact. We only had a couple of tiny issues, (one was we couldn't figure out how to make the streaming hot water less steaming). Not only did she answer immediately, she came over to solve the problem immediately. I loved this condo so much that I wish it was mine...I even thought about asking Brittany if she was interested in selling it...LOL!! The condo was immaculate...had everything we needed and more...and absolutely LOVED the decor! The bed was beautiful and super comfy with lots of pillows...much needed after hiking every day!! The bathroom /shower is fantastic! Loved all the little touches throughout the condo...made it feel like home. The location also couldn't be beat...close to "downtown" area of Crested Butte, yet away from all the craziness! The shuttle for the West Maroon Trailhead (we hiked from CB to Aspen...highly recommend for avid hikers) even picked us up and dropped us off at our condo!! Driving to several of the trailheads is an adventure in itself...glad we had a 4WD vehicle...but the condo is centrally located to all the hikes that we did. Everyone at condo complex was very nice. The common area with community grill and hot tub was great. The convenience and cleanliness of the laundry facilities was also a pleasant surprise, as were the luggage carts that were available for use in the cute lobby...elevator also a plus for this! The check-in and check-out process was super easy, and communicating with Brittany was both easy and very pleasant! You can tell she cares about this condo and her guests :) I wish we could have stayed longer...heck, I want to live there...haha! If you want extreme clean you won’t find that but it was adequate. The refrigerator was dirty, windowsills and blinds were dusty, floors and cabinets need a good scrub. Great shower! Brittany the property manager was extremely responsive. There was a humidifier in the bedroom that really needed to be cleaned. Beittany picked it up cleaned it and returned it. This was our first trip to crested Butte. Took us a while to figure out how to get to the lifts and we quickly realized there aren’t many services at the base. Very cozy mountain condo so close to the Mt. Crested Butte lifts. Clean and well stocked to make your own food. Also, a 10 min drive from downtown Crested Butte and going out to eat. Access to a hot tub and grill was great at the end of the day. Front door is a little tricky to get the latch to stay, but a firm push or pull will do it. ##### Kestutis M. The unit itself was very cozy, and equipped with everything we need. The extras (fans, humidifier) were greatly appreciated. Brittany was quick to respond to our questions.
