"Very disappointing stay — not 5-star quality. The hotel looks nice and the bed is comfortable, but the 1-bedroom design is poorly thought out. There is no proper bathroom door, so odors easily spread into the room. The shower is dangerously slippery with no grab bars, which is a real safety concern for families and elderly guests. I asked for an anti-slip mat, and they didn’t have one. I do appreciate the staff member who tried to help by bringing kitchen mats, but this is not an acceptable solution for a hotel at this level. The heated flooring either was not working or had no clear instructions. The restaurant was closed, and the alternative was poorly handled — uncovered pastries with flies around them, and no lids for coffee to-go, which is very basic. Service was the most frustrating part. We booked 3 rooms with 2 complimentary valet spots and clearly informed staff at check-in, yet were still charged incorrectly at checkout. When we raised it, staff (Sahar) was dismissive, implied it was our fault, and did not apologize. Also, despite requesting and confirming a baby playpen, a dog bed was placed in our room instead. Overall, far below expectations. The 5-star reviews on Google seriously made me question their accuracy. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families or elderly guests."

"The hotel is in a great location form exploring downtown Vancouver with parking available for a fee. The rooms themselves have the necessities and the small kitchen came in handy during our trip. It would be great if the front desk staff communicated with housekeeping as we had to ask for extra towels every single day as they only left one towel per bed, not one per person even though we had 4 people on the booking."
