"Room excellent although mine was city view and was quite noisy from outside. Location to harbour fantastic Roof bar didn’t like that I had to book, as a guest should have had access anytime I wished without having to be out on list But I would stay again I’d just be better prepared next time."

"My only complaint was that the bar closed at 10.00 other than that the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was great although got busy at the weekend."

"The hotel was conveniently located and walkable distance to everything around Sydney CBD. The staff were very nice and greeted you and were very helpful. I was able to check in well before my check in time which was a bonus! The only thing I had slight issue with is the water from the showers runs out and made the floor a bit wet because the shower door doesn’t seem to block the water. But all in all, it was a lovely stay and I will definitely book again next time I come visit Sydney."

"Arriving early at the Shangri-La Sydney hotel, the staff warmly greeted us at the front lobby and showed us where to store our luggage. The Filipino guest services attendant who stored our multiple luggage was helpful and kind. After we had our breakfast, we went back to the hotel and this hardworking and friendly bellhop/porter was looking for us in the lobby while pushing a trolley with our luggage, backpacks, etc., and ushered us to our clean and spacious room with the amazing view of the city! Btw, the front desk staff who checked us in greeted us with a smile and paid attention to our concerns, being exhausted from our long international flight. She was the best! Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of international food to choose from; delicious and worth the price. Our stay was absolutely perfect! On our last day prior to embarking on our cruise, the concierge staff made sure our taxi to the port was there on time. She walked with us towards the taxi, like she was family sending us off safely to our next adventure. Thank you, Shangri-La, we had a wonderful time!"

"The buffet breakfast was awesome. Scrambled eggs were not rubbery. They were just right. But the variety was amazing. Pillows were super fluffy too. Trans and ferry’s right there "

"Breakfast was good but the line to get a table was a 15 min wait. Check in and check out staff were super friendly. Room service operator could have been friendlier, they sounded like we woke them up at 10pm for icecream. We cancelled the order as it sounded like we inconvenienced them. The bar closes at 10pm, I thought it definitely should be open till midnight as people checking in late and were being turned away for a night cap. We arrived about 9pm thought we would go and find somewhere for dinner near by as the restaurant was closed, but the only place we could find open was a kebab shop. Next time we will just order room service. Overall we had a lovely time in Sydney for the weekend. "
