We sat for hours on the deck simply watching the ferries pass by and the ever changing skies over the Olympic Mountain Range. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. As an older couple, the only thing I would say is the steps down to the beach are quite steep, however there is an entrance to the beach only a few houses down the road so it wasn’t a problem. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, right on the water, and we spent most of our time staying in and watching the ships go by. It rained while we were there (we expected it would) and the propane fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The house was so cozy and comfortable. The living spaces were much more roomy than expected. The views were amazing. Beach access stairs from the house were too steep for us but there was very easy access from the road just a couple houses down. The owners were super kind and accommodating. The house is so comfortable and the deck is fabulous. Views of Puget Sound & the Olympic Mountains along with great sunsets. Bruce & Diane are very accommodating hosts. We took their recommendations in dining out but you can’t beat the waterfront dining prepared in the well stocked kitchen. So much fun to see eagles from the house along with all the different ships going by, even a submarine! It was a wonderful stay. ##### Bob S.
