Get away to beautiful and peaceful Whidbey island!

This beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated 2-bedroom, 2 bath home with a large private entertaining deck sits on a hilltop with Westerly views overlooking Puget Sound, Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend, Forts Flagler, Worden, and Casey; ship traffic including the Port Townsend-Coupeville ferry, cruise ships, aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, container traffic, and, of course, the magnificent sunsets that fill the sky.

RELAX and get away to the large Oceanside deck with surrounding views, smells of the beach and calming sounds of crashing waves. Also perfect for outside dining, BBQing and sitting around the firepit at night.
The updated kitchen has elegant granite counter tops and new GE profile black stainless-steel appliances, fully equipped for your gourmet meals. The living room has a 65" Samsung TV, cozy couches, a gas burning stove, and the room is full of light and all sliding doors leading to the deck and koi pond.
Wake up to the spectacular view and passing birds in the master bedroom. It has a comfortable queen bed and private updated full bath. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and updated main bathroom.

The property is beautifully landscaped with another fire pit in the front yard with a water feature and seating.

A nice walk or a couple minutes’ drive to the community beach access. The beach is a lovely sand & gravel. Perfect for sunbathing, beach combing, picnic's and swimming in the chilly Puget sound.
Our home is conveniently located in Central Whidbey Island between Greenbank (3 miles) and Coupeville (7 miles) wonderful shopping, wine tasting and top-rated restaurants. Penn Cove Mussel farm is close by so the mussels and oysters at the Coupeville Restaurants are the best and most fresh! Fort Casey Historical Park (9 miles), Ebey Landing National Historic Reserve and Deception Pass State Park offer hiking, exploration and biking loops. For more ideas and restaurants, we have put together a booklet of places to eat and things for you to do.
Please note: No Smoking, No parties or events, do not wear shoes in the house and you must be 25 years old to reserve the house.

Another wonderful stay!

We just had another wonderful stay at the Turtle House on beautiful Whidbey Island. This property is spotlessly clean and the view from the patio is stunning. Sitting out there listening to the birds and watching the boat traffic in the shipping lanes is paradise. If you need to relax, this is the place.

I had a fantastic weeklong stay at Sea Turtle House in August, my third year in a row visiting Whidbey Island. I've stayed in different homes each year, and I can say without hesitation that this house was the best outfitted - hands-down. If you're a cook, you will find everything you need and more in the lovely kitchen, where the sink overlooks the water. Coffee lover? I've never seen such an amazing selection for use. The views from the deck are even better than what's pictured, and the propery grounds - both front and back - are immaculate. Chace was so fast to respond to even the silliest questions. I WILL be staying here again as my first repeat vacation home on the island.

Beautiful location, house has absolutely everything you need!!

What a wonderful place, the house was so clean and well equipped! We had the most amazing time just walking to the local beach, exploring local state parks and sitting on the deck in the sun. We couldn’t fault anything and the tv choices were fab! Thank you for our lovely wine and biscuits too! We would love to come back!

Annual sisters gathering

Enjoyed four days in this comfortable home with water views. We prefer to cook in the evenings instead of going out and the property was perfect for that—best-equipped kitchen I’ve ever encountered at a VRBO and comfortable places to eat both indoors and out. Host was super-responsive and accommodating. Coupeville is a good central location for exploring Whidbey Island.

The home is amazing - great location, neighborhood and view. It very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and large enough for us all to be comfortable. The main bedroom closet is enormous and the second bedroom is also large. We would stay again!

Slice of Paradise!

We stay in VRBO's frequently and this was one of the best experiences we've had. It was clear that this was a beloved property and meticulously cared for. The outdoor landscaping was thoughtful, colorful and creative. The views from the deck were spectacular. The kitchen was very well appointed with all types of coffee. We walked the beach daily and enjoyed the short drive into Coupeville. Many thanks to Chace for taking care of all of the small details.

Beautiful Water Property & Water Setting

From the moment we chose this property for a mini-vacation, we knew we were set for an extraordinary time. Communication with the owners: superb. Ease of accessing the property: couldn’t have been better. Accommodations and location of the home: a dream come true. We live in Washington state and we felt as though we had entered an entirely different travel location at this home. And it was very obvious to us that pride of ownership was thoroughly evident in the upkeep of the home. It truly became a home away from home for us. Such a pleasant stay.

Sea Turtle House

The home was spacious and comfortable. The view lovely and the home was well equipped and very clean. The decor is Hawaiian and very entertaining, if unexpected. The only criticism I would have is that the rules are somewhat overwhelming. The cancellation policy is harsh and it would have been much more accommodating to us if we could have brought our small, non shedding well travelled well behaved dog with us.

Beautiful, peaceful home, wonderful host

My parents spent four peaceful, enjoyable overnights at the Sea Turtle House, their second vacation in this beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable home. Chace welcomed them with extra touches: a bottle of cold wine, Godiva chocolates, and bags of food for the koi, which were fun to feed. They appreciated the comfortable beds, views of Admiralty Bay through spacious windows, walls filled with colorful artwork, kitchen stocked with ample utensils and dishware, and the lovely landscaped gardens in front and back. They felt refreshed and relaxed when they departed for their home in Portland.

the kitchen has EVERYTHING

We enjoyed or stay. We like to cook and enjoy the view after dinner from the house and the kitchen is truly the best stalked kitchen of anyplace we have ever stayed. I think the owner thinks everyone likes to feed the koi but we found in a chore. I inquired about the feeding and he told me they were on an auto feeder but he asked after we arrived to fee am and pm. Sometimes we were gone all day and I found that I was concerned about my 'job' of making sure they were fed. The beds were comfy but the comforter slid off the bed every night. Both rooms experienced this and it would have been great to have two extra pillows for the bed. There were tons of decorative pillows everywhere which were just in the way. Lots of turtle kitch everywhere but it seemed well meaning but could use some declutter. Overall we had a nice stay.

Except for a very minor hitch in receiving the entry code, the entire stay could not have been better! Our host was very responsive at all times. The facility was uniquely furnished and unbelievably stocked! The grounds were well maintained and absolutely beautiful!. One of the most relaxing stays we have ever encountered! We hope this home will be available for our next island stay!
