We stayed here while wandering along the Rio Grande on our 2026 Big Road Trip. Price was affordable and a good value. The location is conveniently between downtown and the mall. The room was blazing hot when we checked in, but the wall AC eventually got us chillin'. Modest but functional furnishings and decor, comfortable beds, a clean room and parking lot, and a great ice machine. The lobby breakfast is minimalist, but the room has a fridge & microwave for dealing with leftovers from all the good eateries nearby. If we're back in Eagle Pass, we may give the Maverick another mooove-in.

I was pleasantly surprised at what a good night's sleep I had at the Maverick Inn. It had older furniture, but it was well maintained and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. It was a simple room with only the basics (which also included 2 toothbrushes), looked very well-cared for and was very clean. The staff who checked me in wasn't the friendliest but the room made up for it.

Clean rooms, excellent staff. I had an emergency at 11pm. The front desk person wasn't rude he was very nice and understanding. Stayed there for 2 days it was like a vacation. Very quiet and peaceful. Will be booking every time I come to town!!!

The hotel was a very bad experience. The employee gave me upstairs when I specifically informed him that my wife was Not mobile and she needed a ground level room because my wife is Disable. He did not wanted to reimburse my fee originally after that it was a mess with him we had to come back to San Antonio texas after gambling at kikapoo totally a mess.
