The best area to stay in Costa De' Nobili is the town of Bellagio, often referred to as the "Pearl of Lake Como."

Bellagio is a picturesque town situated on a promontory that divides Lake Como into its two southern branches. Its main street, Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, winds uphill from the lakeside, lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and gelaterias. The town is known for its cobbled staircases and colourful buildings, offering stunning views across the lake.

For couples, Bellagio offers a romantic and refined setting. You can enjoy leisurely strolls through the Villa Serbelloni gardens, take a boat trip from the bustling harbour, or simply relax at one of the many lakeside cafes. The town's elegant hotels often boast private balconies with breathtaking views, superb for a quiet evening drink.

Families will also find Bellagio appealing, especially with its access to various lake activities. There are opportunities for swimming in designated lidos nearby, and the frequent ferry services make it easy to explore other charming towns around the lake, such as Varenna or Menaggio, for a day out.

The best time to visit Costa De' Nobili is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the region is less crowded.

Late spring offers comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the rolling hills, vineyards, and historic villages. The landscape is lush and green, and you'll find fewer tourists than in the peak summer months. This period is particularly good for couples looking for scenic drives and wine-tasting experiences without the hustle and bustle.

Early autumn also provides excellent weather, with temperatures similar to late spring, usually between 15°C and 23°C. This is harvest season, so you'll have the chance to experience local festivals and enjoy fresh regional produce. For food enthusiasts and those interested in local culture, this is an opportune time to visit.
