A Unique Gem
I have been lucky to experience quite a few rental properties all over the World, and the attention to detail in this particular property, is astounding! Every little thing that a guest could need, has been thought about & catered for. Extremely tasteful & clean too. We would thoroughly recommend this property, and the area where it resides, is a place we will never forget.

Lovely home in Cortez
The house was in a perfect location. It was very clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, great shower and a comfortable bed. Our dog loved the fenced back yard. Communication with Rodney was excellent. When we are back in Cortez we will definitely try and rent this house for our stay. We had a lovely tiime in Cortez!!!!

Fabulous Place!
This is, by far, the best VRBO we've stayed at. Not only was the house spotless and tastefully decorated, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking. Other huge perks were the fact that there wasn't a huge check out list of things to do (thank you!) and, unlike other places we've stayed, we were left with plenty of dishwasher and laundry detergent. That was a huge bonus! We can't recommend this place enough! The proximity to Mesa Verde National Park was also an added bonus!

Superb accommodations and location!
House was very well equipped with all essentials as well as very well appointed. Hosts were helpful with leaving lots of information about local shopping and areas of interest in the area including contact to ask if there were any questions or concerns. The attractions in the area are phenomenal so there’s no loss of things to do. We did not have a dog but dogs are welcome and a large fenced yard.

Best Vacation Rental!
We absolutely loved our stay. The house was extremely tidy and homey. It had the best backyard for our dogs that came along the way as well. We will most definitely be staying again next year for our yearly trip to Cortez!

Wonderful stay!
We loved our stay here! The house is less than a mile from downtown Cortez and only 12-15 minutes from Mesa Verde NP. The house is in a quiet walkable neighborhood with a private fenced in backyard, which was great for relaxing after a long day exploring & for our dogs! The house is clean, clutter free, and well stocked with everything from shower needs to kitchen essentials. We highly recommend Jamie & Rodney's place to anyone traveling in this area!

Charming Home Foiled by Traffic Noise
The house is cozy and charming, we were so excited. The hosts have gone out of their way anticipating any needs. All the reviews are spot on about the home and the hosts. The house is right on Empire street which is used as a main road across town. Traffic is nonstop during the day with semi trucks, loud trucks and speeding cars. It does slow down at night but it is very disruptive throughout the night. We are not a family of light sleepers, it was too much for us and we left exhausted.

Wonderful property
I spent 12 days at this property in August and it was a very pleasant experience from the time we booked to the time we checked out. The hosts are very responsive and very considerate. The house has been remodeled and everything is in top condition. We did use the AC as it was hot. The kitchen is well equipped, the laundry is stocked with cleaning supplies and the place was very clean. The yard is big and well tended, my pups loved running and chasing balls in the well secured grassy yard. The street is pretty busy but the noise was not a factor. You do have to be patient getting out of the carport but I didn’t have an issue waiting for a gap in traffic. Recommend if you have to spend time in this area.

We loved it here! So much thought and detail has been put into this house. It's clean, inviting, the location is great for downtown shopping. I could go on and on with a list of positives. If we find ourselves in this area again we will be staying here.

A wonderful home away from home
We loved our time at Jamie and Rodney’s house. They truly thought of everything to make us feel welcome and at home. The house was immaculate and all of the extra touches made it such a pleasure to stay there. We loved the big fenced backyard for our dog as well as enjoying our coffee on the lovely front porch. We definitely plan to stay there again the next time we visit Cortez.

A Gem
Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Mesa Verde. Homey decorations, comfy bed and it was stocked with everything you might need. Pet friendly, but super clean. Even a dog bowl. Really enjoyed this cozy spot after long hot days exploring the area.

Best Vacation Rental
This has to be one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed at. The home was fully stocked with anything you could need. It was clean and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. The owners have gone over and beyond extra snacks and amenities.

Perfect location!
We had an excellent stay! The location was perfect for exploring the 4 Corners area and the house was spotless. We really appreciated the welcome gifts and the very comfortable beds!! We would highly recommend and will certainly stay here when returning to the area.

The home was open, clean and beautiful. It was well supplied for all our needs. Lots of room to gather and play games while the kids rested from our adventures out. All the information about the home and area were conveniently placed and Jamie was quick to reach out and respond to our questions.

Great little place .
Very nice and well appointed home. Perfect for our stay. Nice backyard for our little pup. Everything we needed was there . Everything is well marked and labeled. Would definitely stay again as we travel to the Denver area several time a year to visit family. This is the perfect 1/2 way spot for us.

One of the best rentals I have stayed in. Very cozy with lots of nice extras (snacks and wine, thank you!) The host even offered up a locked shed to keep our mountain bikes secure overnight. 10/10 would recommend!

Home Away from Home
A wonderful, inviting place to stay for our 2 weeks in Cortez. The kitchen is spacious and very well-equipped. The beds are both very comfortable, and the bedside lamps are perfect for readers to snuggle down to read. There is plenty of storage for settling in for a long stay. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into the furnishing of this house. Easy walking distance to Main Street and walking trails. The only negative is the traffic noise on Empire, but that only starts around 7 am and ceases by 7 pm, so we slept fine. The rest of the neighborhood is very quiet. We will definitely plan to stay here on our next trip to Cortez.

FANTASTIC rental and hosts
This is such a spectacular rental home. Jamie and Rodney have gone above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay. They did NOT cut corners. Incredibly comfortable mattresses!! Super clean. Super organized. You will not have any challenges navigating their home. Everything is in its right place and even labeled. An abundance of towels/linens available. An abundance of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. If you need it, they’ve got it for you. They even provide a poop scooper and bags for your pup! They even had toiletries in case you forgot something. The hosts left simple instructions and helpful phone numbers/area information. They even asked if we would like them to provide a dog crate for our dog for convenience and we took them up on it. This crate was MASSIVE and our Annie girl loved having all that room to sleep in. We even arrived to water, fruit, and snacks after our long road trip. They are so kind and thoughtful. I also want to mention something that was important to us but not listed in the amenities, is the gigantic fully fenced yard. It’s also a corner lot! The location was convenient and there were plenty of little places to eat- some within simple walking distance even. There were card games and board games. We enjoyed Uno nightly with our children. And the coffee pot is both a k cup and brew. The kitchen is fully stocked. We joked every time we opened a drawer, “They are so much better than us at life.” Haha Think I will take home some of these organization ideas for our own home. LOL All jokes aside, we were so relieved to have stayed in this home. We had privacy but knew they would not hesitate to help if we needed anything. Thank you for a lovely mini vacation away from the heat of Phoenix.

Beautiful home!
The hosts made this home so beautiful--it is clear they took a lot of effort trying to anticipate all our needs and they were so welcoming with several complimentary items for us to enjoy! The home is close to Mesa Verde and we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon there as well as a really neat tour at the Ute Tribal Park. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this home highly!
