The actual main body of the building was lovely -we were in an out building which was rather tired and the shower fell apart when I touched it.Lovely evening meal with attentive and courteous staff.Very nice garden but marred by the smell of the local pig farm.

Excellent belle epoche villa in the Lombardy count
We used this to break our journey down to Sienna but we're bowled over by the location and hospitality especially from Giuseppe. We shall certainly return.

Quiet villa reasonably close to Cremona
Spent three quiet nights at the villa after visiting the area each day. I find this a great hub to visit the Milan/Cremona/Bergamo/Parma area, all within an hour or two's drive. Two things I must caution though: 1. The villa is surrounded by lots of fields and driving in/out and while staying on the villa it can smell pretty bad. 2. There is no direct highway to Cignone/the villa; one has to drive into/out of many roundabouts and that can get a bit annoying. Otherwise, the breakfast was good (though one morning we had the misfortune of sharing breakfast buffet with a bunch of messy, obnoxious French Hells Angels and that spoiled the experience) and the property is lovely.

Chambre pour une étape
Chambre très propre et très bon petit déjeuner en buffet. Nous étions dans la chambre 1 au rez de chaussée, c'était très bruyant car avec le plancher en bois du dessus on entendait les voisins. Arrivés de nuit, nous avons eu des difficultés pour trouver la boite à clés, la photo n'était pas très explicite.

Alojamiento precioso en una antigua villa. Muy tranquilo y limpio. Las habitaciones estan en un edificio anexo. Aparcamiento sin problemas. Buen desayuno incluido en el precio. Buen sitio para hacer una etapa y recorrer los alrededores. En el pueblo de al lado hay un restaurante agradable. Il gabbiano1983

Viene pubblicizzata la bella villa dei primi del novecento ma in realtà le camere assegnateci erano nella dependance prossima (ex scuderie). Scale da fare con i bagagli (ne’ montacarichi ne’ ascensore). Percorso all’aperto per andare a fare la prima colazione (o fruire della ristorazione). Forse per motivi stagionali ma tutta la zona puzza dei fertilizzanti utilizzati per i campi. Al check-in lunga attesa di una persona all’ingresso. Cortesi e professionali coloro che si occupano del ristorante alla sera e della colazione al mattino. Ottima la colazione. Buona la cena.

Assolutamente consigliato. Grande fascino.
La villa è stupenda. Io ho alloggiato nella dependance (come chiaramente indicato in fase di prenotazione prenotazione) molto bella e curata. Unica pecca il riscaldamento ad aria piuttosto rumoroso. La prima colazione si consuma nella villa, in una bella sala. La colazione è ottima ed abbondante. Il ristorante della villa è aperto solo dal giovedì alla domenica solo alla sera. Nelle sere di chiusura del ristorante l'hotel consiglia un ottimo ristorante (IL GABBIANO) a pochi kilometri di distanza. Il rapporto qualità prezzo di questo hotel è eccezionale, molto al di sopra della media. Assolutamente consigliato. Grande fascino.

Buongiorno Filippo, Grazie mille per la recensione, veramente gradita! Le rispondo per i difetti che ci segnalava, che possono sempre essere migliorative del servizio. Il riscaldamento dell'hotel è molto potente sono due grosse pompe di calore Mitsubishi, sono veramente efficienti e riescono a scaldare o raffreddare in poco tempo tutti gli ambienti. L'unica "pecca" si ha con la nebbia fitta. Quando ha bisogno di fare tanta aria calda, se è presente molta umidità esterna, essa si ghiaccia sulla pompa di calore e ha bisogno di 5/10 minuti per lo scongelamento, operazione che potrebbe fare un poco di rumore. Si può ovviare a questo problema preriscaldando le camere, operazione che solitamente facciamo alla mattina in base agli arrivi. Si vede che quella sera abbiamo avuto molti arrivi dell'ultimo minuto. Me ne scuso se il rumore è stato troppo forte. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante confermo che il Gabbiano è un ottimo ristorante, ma anche il nostro non è da meno! Anzi La informo per la prossima volta che verrà a trovarci che il nostro ristorante è aperto tutti i giorni escluso il lunedì! Grazie ancora di tutto e a presto!

Bene, ma non benissimo.
Camere eccellenti, solo accettazione discutibile, in quanto dopo le 20.00 la reception chiude. Bisogna quindi aprire uno scatolino, inserire una combinazione, dedurre che la tastiera dove si è digitata si apra tipo ribalta, estrarre la chiave della camera, che da' accesso all'apertura del cancello dell'hotel e poi della porta della camera. Arrivando dopo una giornata ed una cena di lavoro, anche no, se possibile. Comunque ottima struttura. Andrebbe solo messa l'aria condizionata in sala colazioni perche' essendo al piano interrato era oggettivamente troppo caldo gia' alle 8 del mattino.

Location bellissima con spazi verdi ben curati. Nelle camere c'è ogni genere di confort. Le stanze sono molto spaziose. Insomma a parte una partenza un po' in salita, attesa fuori la struttura per cancelli chiusi e mancanza del personale, poi siamo stati ospitati in una struttura ben organizzata.
