The deck will quickly become a favorite lounge space, with lounge chairs, Gulf views, and a grill. There are four covered patio areas with tons of seating, including a picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a bench. Enjoy access to a shared pool with a fun waterfall feature. The beautiful beaches await nearby. Port Aransas is on the very northern tip of Mustang Island at the intersection of Harbor Island and St. Jo's Island. It is an eco-tourism area with lots of wildlife, including a wide variety of migratory birds. Bay and deep sea fishing are excellent, with many charter boats in the marina. The USS Lexington is about 30 miles away, and right next door is the Texas State Aquarium. Cruise to town, offering serenity and peace from the hustle and bustle. Golf enthusiasts can practice their swing at the nearby Palmilla Golf and Beach Resort, offering greens on both sides of the highway with a cart bridge connecting the two. The club has a pro shop and snack bar available. The main floor has a large combined open kitchen, dining, and living area. The spacious living area has 15-foot ceilings, a comfortable sofa bed, and a TV. The kitchen boasts an oven, stove, microwave, and refrigerator and is well-equipped for all cooking needs. It even includes a coffee maker, Keurig machine, and blender. Perch at the kitchen bar as the chef preps delectable dishes, then gather for home-cooked meals at the dining table. The primary bedroom has a private balcony with Gulf views. The guest bedroom features a TV. Third bedroom is at ground level. Guests must use the exterior stairs to enter the house on the second level for the bathroom. There is NO RESTROOM on the ground level. A washer/dryer and complimentary WiFi are provided. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. A/C went out our first day there, and owners took care of it really fast (Thanks!!). Had a lot of fun in the community swimming pool, short walk from the house. One the thing to be aware of - there is NO BEACH ACCESS by foot. All the other communities in the area have everything gated off, so you will have to drive to the beach, but it's like a 1/4 mile, so it's close. ##### L L. With ocean access about 4min away this is a great little location. Property was clean and fully stocked for all your needs and on site amenities were a nice little plus. Only small issue we delt with was the upstairs shower head. It definitely needs to be replaced, as it sprayed in every direction possible. Once again this was such a a small issue I was hesitant to comment about. Overall, great little place and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to the beach. ##### Justin P. At first we thought this house was great find. It was easy to book and all the necessary info was provided ahead of check-in. The location was nice as it’s just a mile from a beach access road, which is super helpful when driving to the beach. Additionally, the pool is just a couple houses down and can be seen from the balconies. Unfortunately, the main drawback for us was that there were ants all over the main level of the house (the first level above the garage). They were on the stove, in the cabinets, on the plates/bowls/cups in the cabinets, in the microwave, in the coffee maker, coming up the drain in the bathtub, on the countertops, on the dining table, and on the walls and floors. We were constantly cleaning & killing the ants. We put ALL food, including non-refrigerated items (chips, crackers, dry pasta, etc) in the refrigerator the first day to help deter the ants, but they were still everywhere. You could not make a cup of coffee or anything to eat without ants swarming! The worst part was that we notified the property manager of the issue upon arrival, including answering their initial questions for more detail and sending pictures, and they did absolutely nothing. They just stopped responding! We also read in their on-site guest book that ants were a prior issue as well, so this was not a new issue. This house could be a great option for Port A / Corpus Christi, but I would definitely NOT rent this house anytime in the near future as it looks like the property manager/owner have no intention of addressing the ant infestation. ##### Erica S. Had a musty smell and again, the place was closed up, and south Texas will do that.
