"The photos online are very deceiving. This hotel is in need of major repairs and updates. We were told there was a gym, but upon inspection, none of the equipment was in working condition and we felt unsafe even trying to use it. Let alone the gym area was filthy. Our room air conditioning (room 208) was emitting a terrible smell but was necessary to keep the room cool. The pool was missing so many tiles you could barely step into it because of the exposed concrete. The outside patio/pool area was so overgrown with weeds and dead grass it was not enjoyable to relax out there. Aside from the delightful and friendly staff, this hotel was not what was depicted in the photos and I would not recommend this to anyone. "

"There isn't a huge selection of hotels in Coron, so I would stay here again in the expectation of a 3* experience. The pool was nice, clean and refreshing and there were enough loungers on the pool day we had. The drinks service to the pool was great, and happy hour was appreciated! Breakfast was so-so, but we only had that once due to an early transfer. The lunch food was pretty good. Staff were as helpful as you can expect. Location is good, considering Coron town isn't all that walkable, so sure it's a max 150 peso ride to the centre but tricycles are plentiful. The main issue with this hotel is the condition of things, everything is a bit rundown or damaged. For example, the cushions on the pool loungers just slide off and the bedroom walls and floors were a bit grubby. It felt like a UK Travelodge, with a pool and better service. "

"We had a great stay at this dive resort. We stayed in the Hillside Chalet with AC. The room was very nice and had hot water in the shower. We had monkeys visit our balcony every day. My wife follows a strict gluten free diet and the kitchen made certain dishes separately for her. The dive shop is well run. The wreck diving is spectacular. The dive sites are 10-20 minutes by boat and the surface intervals are at the resort. It was great to have a hot shower and rest in the room during the surface interval. There are activities for non-divers (kayaks, snorkeling, hot spring). I highly recommend this resort and will be coming back."

"It was a WOW coming in to the island on the bargka boat. We were initially picked up at a wee dock in the countryside and rode down the mangrove lined river before entering the ocean. Food was great, room was lovely and staff were very attentive. We were here during the US/Iran war so it was very quiet. We had a palapa and beach chairs to ourselves. Chance to snorkel, kayak and paddle board. Pool was nice although the water was warm from the sun. The bats were so cool, seeing them all sleep in the trees and then leave at sundown. They had a baby bat which we could see every day. The morning hike to see the sunrise was stunning. Highly recommend spending some time here."
