Beautiful cabins in a gorgeous bush setting but ..
The cabins here are lovely , comfortable beds and serenely quiet. The one drawback though is our definition of bathroom nearby and theirs! I was fully aware that our bathroom was not in the cabin but nearby, this meant over a little bridge down a path past the communal kitchen and right next to someone elses room and outdoor sitting area. Going to the bathroom was not a private experience but rather an enforced social experience. It is such a shame as the rest of the place is a beautiful peaceful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hush. Marilyn and Steve made us feel very welcome and provided lots of ideas for things to do around Coromandel town. The accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully presented...really pretty at night with illuminated paths!

Excellent one night stay in this beautiful cabin. Hosts were so helpful with late check-in, organising transport and planning our day out the following morning in the coromandel. Should I ever return I would stay here in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We stayed in the "Hideaway" and it was great. Very clean and cozy. It is just a 3 minute drive from the city centre. The community kitchen is in a very good condition and has everything you need.

Best place that we stayed in during our 3 weeks in both North and South Islands. Highly recommend the Hideaway hut, loved the over flowing garden shrubs and stream running through the conplex! Beautiful both day and night. I would highly recommend to anyone going to New Zealand for an authentic NZ stay.

Loved the “Church” setting.
Nice accommodation but walls are paper thin and we could hear every footstep from next door. Not sure how they can solve this.

Hello David, We're so glad you enjoyed your accommodations at Hush. Our wooden cabins were built to imitate the gold mining cabins that used to be in this area during the gold mining of the 1800's. They have been well insulated and stand alone amongst a bush setting. Best Regards Marilyn

Delightful and relaxing
We had a wonderful two-night stay at this lovely little hideaway. It's the perfect place to relax, has a beautiful location, and the host recommended some fantastic short walks nearby, which we loved. The rooms are cosy and charming and the shared kitchen is well-equipped and immaculately clean. Everything here has been done with care and attention. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely peaceful rest away from home
We spent two nights at the Happiness cabin and would definitely go back. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Lovely peaceful vibe and Marilyn was very welcoming. She has a lot of knowledge about the area and gave us some great suggestions regarding activities, cafes etc. Awesome large bathroom with a wonderful HOT shower! Highly recommended.

Quirky, peaceful, comfortable stay
Quirky set of cabins in rural, rain-forest type setting with communal kitchen, eating area and boardwalk access to cabins. Just 4 cabins, so quiet, relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Excellent service and welcome from the owners. Our cabin, Harmony, was comfortable with two bedrooms (bunk bed in 2nd) with good bathroom, although another bathroom for other cabins was part of the same building, so some shower noise intruded. Plenty of parking, good wi-fi and Creek Railway is across the road. Coromandel is a couple of miles away, but easy access. Local area is stunning, especially the drive to Thames. Pepper Tree restaurant locally has superb food in relaxed environment.

Hidden gem
Really enjoyed out night at Hush Beautique Lovely greeting when we arrived, Marilyn the owner took us round to show us all the amminities even offered us a slice of her home made sponge cake.. Marilyn was very knowledgable about the local area, pointing us in the right direction for a beautiful me in a quirky old eatery (the pepper tree) Accomadation first class. Everything spotless. All the towels and bedding looked new and soo comfy. The little extras- the basket of goodies insect repellent, fly spray, flash light all very much appreciated Over all. A lovely place to stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone, as I did when we went into the tourist information the next day

Lovely private cabin surrounded by native plants
Totally quiet except for some bird song - lovely setting. Very relaxed and relaxing. Owners attended to all requests then allowed us to make ourselves at home and be private. Nice place and excellent hosts. Loved the woodwork interiors everything so natural and organic. Will be back for a chill out.

Amazing, scenic nature retreat
Fantastic natural setting, felt like living in a treehouse! Hosts were extremely nice and knowledgeable. The only thing that may throw off some folks is the shared, communal kitchen. We had zero problem with the shared kitchen, just putting it out there as it may be an issue for some. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area and would definitely stay again is we get back to the Coromandel area.

Excellent, quiet, accommodation.
My stay at Hush Boutique Accommodation was great. You'll find your room nestled amongst the trees and so it really feels like you're in the forest. You can see the other rooms, but the walkways seemed to be designed so that no other guests will walk in front of your room. In fact, it was hard to tell that there were others staying even though it was full. The staff were very nice and helpful - Marilyn was particularly helpful with my late check in and she gave me lots of useful information about walks in the area. You're a little out of Coromandel town but it's only a 5 minute drive away which adds to the isolated feel of the place. The cabin was very clean and had everything that I needed. My only comment was that it was a little cold on my first night, even with the heaters on. But on my second night, after a day of walking, the temperature was no problem. Overall, a highly recommended and unique hotel.

Resort Feel
Hush Boutique was like staying at a rainforest resort. It is absolutely adorable and quaint. The owner is very kind and has a fantastic personality. The beds, furniture, everything was very nice and extremely well maintained. It has fun elevated walkways over a creek and it feels like your room is in the treetops. I loved this place. Highly recommended.

Romantischer Aufenthalt in der Hush Boutique
Wir haben für zwei Nächte das "Hideaway" Studio in der Hush Boutique Accommodation auf der Coromandel Halbinsel gebucht. Die Unterkunft liegt ein paar Autominuten von der Stadt Coromandel direkt vis-a-vis von der Driving Creek Railway entfernt. Das Hush Boutique besteht aus ein paar schönen Studios, welche im Grünen gelegen sind. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, morgens kann man dem Gesang der Vögel lauschen. Zudem besteht draussen die Möglickeit, zu kochen (bedacht). Einziger Minuspunkt: Es gab keine Zimmerreinigung.
