There was a slight issue with our room, not only were they considerate, they upgraded our room and sent a gift to our room complimentary once hearing about our wedding. "Our host was simply wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this experience. This was a delightful gathering of friends in Lucca. I definitely recommend having Monica cook a meal for you one night while you stay- you will not be disappointed. I also recommend buying some of Monica's cheeses to enjoy while you are there- they pair perfectly with local meats, and you cannot get fresher cheese than this. Hospitality and responsiveness was wonderful- and they have many great insights on things to experience in the area. This was truly a wonderful and special visit."

"We left a big piece of our collective hearts in Treppignana! The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and be sure to rent a narrow, sturdy vehicle. Overall a 10/10 unforgettable experience. "
