I slept with earplugs bc you can hear sounds in the hallway and adjoining room, but earplugs are typical to help me sleep while traveling. Great location, excellent and kind hostesses. We rented bikes to get around and they were great and cheaper than our last hotel. It is very well placed, only a few minutes from all the places to visit and in a quiet area although offering many choices of restaurants, bars etc.... The staff are very attentive to everyone and the room we had was magnificent, as was the rest of the hotel. We felt right at home! We were a little apprehensive about sharing bathrooms and WCs, having booked before we realised this. However, even though it's a little annoying, you soon get used to it and in the end you don't have to fight for these rooms, of which there are many. The rooms are also clean and have soap, shampoo etc available.
