Wivenhoe House Hotel

"This hotel has a great location just outside Colchester in the University Campus. Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast, but limited dinner options for the vegetarian /vegans. Our room in the old part of the hotel was nicely decorated but had an odd layout and an uncomfortable bed. I was told the new wing of the hotel is better. Notwithstanding that, it was a good stay and great value for money."

"Lovely place to stay-granted not the most luxurious hotel you’ll ever stay in but what it lacks here is made up for by the friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Felixstowe for a night away"

"A very well located Hotel. We paid extra for a room with a view, unfortunately this was on the 4th. floor, and for 80 year olds' 55 stairs and no lift was to say the least........testing."
