"The hotel was very good for what we needed. A very short walk from Pío XII metro, the facilities were very good, hotel clean and whilst about 30 mins out from Sol (city centre) it’s very simple and cheap on the metro. Airport is also about half hour away. Very friendly check in staff, and spacious rooms. No issues whatsoever. We didn’t try the restaurant or bar here but it always smelt nice walking past. We also didn’t use the parking facilities but they were clearly signed. Would come back here again whenever we come back to Madrid Top tip: if going to the Bernabéu, catch the 150 bus. Right outside the hotel and takes you straight to the stadium in about 10 minutes. Don’t bother with the Metro."

"Amazing hotel - really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely quiet area, close to the airport, rooms were nice - with lovely welcoming gift, rooftop pool and bar lovely and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Was a little light on toilet rolls in the rooms but that's the only negative thing I have to say... which is nothing really. Overall a 5 star experience and would absolutely stay again."

"The hotel had everything that I could have possibly needed after two weeks of walking the Camino de Santiago, to feel refreshed before my long travel day back to the United States. The food both in the bar and at breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. I hadn't realized how hungry I was! The pool area and bar was an added bonus. One reason I chose this hotel was the free airport shuttle. The only thing missing was a hairdryer in the bathroom! If I ever I need an overnight near the Madrid airport, I will definitely choose to stay at the Melia Madrid Barajas."
