"It was convenient and located right at the St Louis Arch which we visited. It didn't have a lot of food places. We had to walk far to get to our room. We had to pay extra for valet parking because the self-parking garage was full. But it was a great old hotel for the price we paid."

"The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The common areas were clean and well maintained, but the real standout was the breakfast and evening Kickback. It made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable, and was definitely one of the highlights of our visit."

"All staff are absolutely amazing! It was within walking distance to Union Station and pretty close to downtown St. Louis. There is an on-site restaurant, Sybergs that has great burgers. This hotel offers social hour woth chips, salsa and cheese from 5-7. They also have fountain sodas available for free 3-10 PM. Beds are comfy, pillows are normal hotel pillows, bathroom is small, no fan for circulation but clean. Would stay here again."

"breakfast was excellent! location was great because it was away from downtown and major highways. it also has a gas station in front. lots of free parking in a gated property. also very comfy beds and was pleasantly surprised the room has wood laminate flooring and not carpeted. however, the toilet bowl was wobbly! glad it didn't create any mess though. please fix the wobbly toilet bowl!"

"The property worked wonderfully for our family vacation. It was nice to have the island with the large countertop in addition to the kitchen table so we could eat and play games easily. The host communicated very quickly and was very friendly. The house was very clean. The two garage spaces were very convenient. We were close to activities in St. Louis. We were in walking distance to Clementine's ice cream, which was delicious. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this property."

"Wonderful Home. Perfect for 5 of Us. Excellent condition prompt communications with Host. Basement Bedroom and basement living area could use some sprucing up. But all Beds and Linens were Super comfortable. One TV didn’t work in an upstairs bedroom which was no big deal for us. Shampoo, conditioner and bath Wash were for Men. Luckily I had brought some women’s. Pots, Pans and Bakeware in Kitchen could use replacement. As could Couch and Recliner on first floor living are. But altogether a Perfect Location and very comfortable home. Would definitely book again if we ever return to St Louis. Note: Access to All Bedrooms requires Stairs. Stairs to 2nd Floor or slightly narrow. Not handicapped Accessible but doable if you proceed with caution."

"The host provides easy parking and easy entrance into Vrbo. Vrbo was so clean and user friendly. Bath products are provided and kitchen is well equipped. Beds are super comfortable! This place was built in 1900. The host has done a remarkable remodel and yet kept the beauty of its age. The old oak floors and the beautiful brick work! So much attention to detail! Love this place and appreciate this host allowing us to stay! Thank you!"

"Convenient location for STL and Illinois activities and events. Easy parking, plenty of room inside for families, and great with or without dogs. During our stay they had individual AC units in the upstairs bedrooms to ensure guest comfort. One threw an error code on our second evening, but our kids made the most of the excuse to build a pillow and blanket fort in the living room. The beds were comfortable and we had multiple people shower in the morning without running short on hot water. It is a historic home with a few imperfections, but wonderful character and a great overall value. I would absolutely stay here again and I recommend it for anyone looking for a place in STL."
