Take out a rental car in Bruges and discover the rest of Belgium.
Fly in to Ostend-Bruges International Airport, a 30-minute drive from the city centre, or opt for Brussels Airport, which is just over an hour’s drive of 70 miles.

The buildings that line Bruges’ canals are both imposing and postcard pretty. Steep-sloped roofs and red tiles punctuate the skyline while looking downwards it’s all cobblestone streets and city squares. Then head into one of the numerous antique shops or visit the Lace Centre to find out more about the area’s history.
