"By US std = 2; By Belize City std =4. (Ramada Inn in Belize City = 2-- : US)The host was very nice & accommodating. He seems anxious to give you the best experience with what he has to work with. Room reasonably clean. Quiet if you don't take room upstairs by the "office". One room smelled moldy - we refused it & took a better one on 1st floor back. AC good. Wifi pretty good. Bed okay - claimed to be queen, but 2x. Only towel, hand towel & bar of soap; NO washcloth, bath mat, shampoo. Shower head needed cleaning: only a few small jets of water. "Studio" with microwave, sm. refrig, but NO dishes or silverware. Coffee, water & some fruit available free at office. Very good providing transportation to airport & eating establishments, but you pay $10 for every trip. Breakfast was excellent & generous - $10/person. Local neighborhood seemed fairly nice & safe for Belize City. For near airport options near Belize City, this is a very good pick & would recommend it considering local standards - just realize what those are."

"The whole place is beautiful, with a wonderful pool and lots of flowers and trees surrounding the area. The native birds are singing and welcoming. Our room was great and had everything we needed. Scott picked us up and took us back to fly home. A total great experience. "

"What a wonderful place and staff! I felt so welcome ! Was the perfect area , close enough , but not too close to the main road . One thing I would have have put on my wish list Would have been a coffee machine in my room or access to coffee earlier than 7:30 , and a better fridge . Yes the rooms are a bit dated , but the atmosphere , view and staff made up for it !!"

"Could not find this place with my google map, host seemed friendly when we eventually got in touch, but it was getting dark, could not reach host by phone, and we did not feel safe in that community to keep looking for the house. Ended up renting a hotel. Probably a good spot, just a bad experience for us. Never did find the place."

"The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize."

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom bungalow and it was perfect. The pool was fantastic and the grounds were lovely , especially at night when lights came on. Michelle and Scott were wonderful hosts. Close to airport but never heard planes. Highly recommend this place..."
