You can tell they paid attention to little details like providing a separate makeup washcloth, I was impressed. It’s in Belize city I would say in a middle class neighbourhood and you will get the real Belize city experience. I would suggest BakeD coffee house for breakfast it’s a 2 minute walk and Santo Taco is an 18 minute walk, amazing affordable taco spot. In my opinion it felt safe, we didn’t stay out too late at night and enjoyed walking in the day. The grounds were lovely with lots of native plants and a small platform at the river to sit. The pool wasn't large but had a great deck, partially covered, with a an outside kitchen. The best part though was when the howler monkeys brought their babies to visit on the neighboring veranda - incredible. When i move to Belize next year, i hope i can find a home just like this." I was born in Belize but now live in the U.S., and I wanted to experience more of the country like a traveler this time — and this place was the perfect choice. The property is clean, peaceful, and situated directly on the water. It’s gated, so I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive — they checked on us multiple times just to make sure we were doing okay, which really made it feel personal and homey. Every morning they cooked us breakfast, and it was delicious — made with care and a great way to start each day. The room was clean, spacious, and had hot water (a big plus in Belize!). Even though it was slow season and we were basically the only guests, it never felt empty — just quiet, cozy, and welcoming. Overall, Villa Boscardi is a great place to stay in Belize City if you're looking for a comfortable, safe, and warm-hearted accommodation. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with true Belizean hospitality.
