"Best thing about this property is the location. It’s a ground level suite in a very old house and the unit reflects that. Big red flag was discovering on entering the property that it had a Jack and Jill shared bathroom with another ground floor unit. This was not noted in the Expedia ad, and was buried down in the listing and a further drop-down in the Vrbo listing. This made the unit uncomfortable and from my perspective unsafe. When you’re in the bathroom, the only locks you have to. Both units are a typical bathroom passage set with a button lock on each side. Not exactly secure, but the real problem is when you are back in the unit itself. The only thing preventing someone from the other side getting into your unit from the bathroom is a metal hook into a metal eye. You have no real locking lock on your side. I had a booking for three nights, but left after one hour. The owner has updated the Vrbo listing to make the shared bathroom, a little more obvious, but that doesn’t solve what I think is a security issue. I have not had satisfactory response from Expedia/VRBO or the owner in terms of refund. There is nothing much in the unit to recommend it. One bed is a mattress on the floor under the stairs. The furniture is all old mismatched and very funky. The only towels were too old, thin, swim towels."

"Great location, very close to everything you need and bus routes. The suite is very spacious and the kitchen if fully equipped. It was great having a washing machine and dryer. The check in process was super easy and Soheila is great and super responsive. Would definitely recommend"

"This house is the perfect fit for any stay in Vancouver. Location is on a beautiful street; close enough to access the bus and the metro easily. Thoughtful touches are all over the house, like extra umbrellas at the door. The house is like staying at home; comforting and full of anything you could think of needing. "We enjoyed our stay. Mania, our host, was very responsive to our questions and tried to anticipate our needs by providing an umbrella and extra blankets. The temperature of the apartment was warm enough without turning the under floor heating on and we kept one window open all the time. This end of April trip was not particularly cold or hot so we can't tell what it would be like under extreme conditions. We could not open the bedroom window because the street noise was so great! It was fine with the window closed. Great stay!"
