"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"2 night stay in a very impressive and interesting old property. Easy drive into Vitre. Delicious breakfast and evening meals which we had ordered. Secure parking and very quiet surroundings. Very friendly and helpful host. Would certainly recommend."

"We stay here regularly as we travel South. Safe carpark, always lovely staff, comfy beds & pillows & a good self serve breakfast. It's effectively a commercial motel, not a holiday hotel. Not fancy & no leisure facilities but ideal for a safe stay."

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too.
