"Black bear was very cozy and tidy. It was so nice to be able to escape for acouple days. The cabin had everything you needed and there were places to eat and a grocery store close by if you needed one. Very nice! Brad and Dana were easily accessible if you needed anything as well. "

"We loved staying at Lola’s Getaway! It’s a little far from town, but that’s exactly what we wanted. Brand new property, very modern but out in the country. And Brandon is a great host. Thank you!"

"The canvas cabin was basically brand new as were all the furnishings. Same for the entire facility. Everything was clean and new. It was a nice glamping place. I was worried about heat, since it was about 50 degrees. The space heater worked like a champ. I stayed there to bicycle the Hincapie Gran Fondo about 3 miles away at Hotel Domestique. It was a quick and easy commute. The camp store and bathroom facilIty was also basically brand new and very nice. "

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Spartanburg-North by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Stay would’ve been OK except for they charged two different credit cards for our length of stay. Pretty much impossible to get a hold of the manager to help the situation since he is never there. We also checked out early due to sickness, I had to contact Expedia to see about reimbursement for one night. They said they would get a hold of me within 48 hours and I have not heard from them either. Unless I hear back from somebody, I will definitely not use Expedia ever again. I’ve never had this problem with other 3rd party websites. Room was clean it’s a nice hotel, but not a $1400 for 4 nights hotel. "
"Clean room. Easy check in. Good breakfast. Only confusion was the shared parking with the Mountain Lodge which has a very similar name so one might find themselves at the wrong inn, initially."
"I stayed for 4 days 5/20-5/24. Upon arrival, my sheets were dirty, as well as the countertops, windows and shower floor. I asked for a new room and was unable to switch due to being “overbooked”. The ice machine on the 2nd floor did not work so I had to keep doing to the lobby for ice. EVERY SINGLE DAY my key card would stop working and I would have to go downstairs to reactivate it (and no it was no where near my phone to deactivate itself). The continental breakfast was not so continental..half cooked sausages and stale muffins. No complimentary waters in the rooms, although it is nice to have a mini fridge in the room. The mattress was very uncomfortable. I can feel every spring in my back and the frame of the bed in hallow and very noisy. I had to get an extra comforter just to add some extra comfort. Overall not a bad sleep for maybe a night or two but I wouldn’t do anything longer than that!"
