"This was a beautiful place to stay with breathtaking visas everywhere you look once out of your room and into the village. The room was cle, well maintained and comfortable with an ability to make tea/coffee which I find rare in France so far. I booked a bike through a 3rd party Dopamine rentals and I was helped to ensure my booking was in place and that a bike would be delivered. Staff were warm and friendly. "Wem Ökologie am Herzen liegt, wer sich gerne bewusst ernährt und einen freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Umgang schätzt, ist im La Rub genau richtig. Der Aussenbereich am Flüsschen ist bezaubernd. "For the price, we had a decent room, but unfortunately we were on the side where the train went by and the traffic. Sleep was not brilliant. The room, modern BUT no door to the shower area…it was ‘open plan’. Not good when you are at an age of being self conscious. Corridors are carpeted, which helps keeps any noise down. The breakfast was excellent. A really good choice of items, and you have the coffee machines available to you all day should you wish. FREE of charge. I did not like to see dogs in the food area. Overall though a very good hotel very close to the centre. There is a very good car park about a 10 minute walk away for 3 euros a day. Excellent and very clean. Would I stay again? Yes, but making sure I had an inner corridor room."

"The hotel was in a great location. It’s right across the street from the train station and all the bus stops as well. Staff was very helpful and spoke English very well. The room was a very nice size…not you typical European room. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.. a lot of options with both cooked and cold food. The center of town is about a 10-15 minute walk but there is a complimentary shuttle about a block away that runs every 15 minutes so that was very convenient"

"The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was great. The staff was very friendly at checkin and the included breakfast was a nice perk. The reason behind the 4 star versus the 5 star was the air conditioner. The first night the room hovered around 74F with the lowest temp setting possible. The second night something went wrong with their overall system. It never got lower than 79F and continued to climb overnight to 84F+. We ended up having to open the balcony to get some semblance of cool air in. The humidity was very high that night and unfortunatedly the daytime temps were close to 100F feel. The room felt very warm and hard to sleep in. Management acknowledged that the cooling system was having issues but nothing was done during our stay."
