My wife and I connected with her several times, including in advance of booking to see if the cabin was suitable for our Milky Way viewing adventure that required our setting up at at a clearing two miles from the cabin at 4 a.m. She filled us in on the lions and bear situation and details of access. We encountered a flash blizzard on the way to Florissant killing our hiking plans, so she gratuitously let us in early. The cabin was comfortable and my wife really enjoyed the contemporary pellet stove fireplace. Although it was 70 when we arrived in Denver, it was 0 at 4:30 AM when we filmed the Milky Way, so being able to fire up the stove in a few minutes after we returned at 5 AM was really blissful. We slept in the bigger bed, which was quite comfy. We made breakfast in the kitchen every morning. It felt like we were living the idyll. "

"We really enjoyed our time at the cabin the host was very helpful, I had trouble getting the gas fire pit working but she sent a text to explaining exactly how to get it working. The backyard could use a good spring cleaning but other than that it was perfect."

"Kristen was an incredible host. She checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and shared great dining recommendations that we ended up loving. Check-in and check-out were seamless.The house itself is beautiful, recently renovated, and truly feels like a home away from home. It’s in a neighborhood but still quiet and private, with a lovely outdoor space to enjoy the Colorado air. The hot tub was a highlight, especially when two deer wandered through the yard while we were using it.Everything you could need is there. Unlike many rentals, this place is fully stocked with basics like spices, coffee, and more, which made cooking easy. Beds were very comfortable, showers had great pressure and hot water, and having a washer and dryer was a big plus. The living room is cozy and actually comfortable, not just for looks, and we appreciated all the extra blankets.Location was perfect for us. Easy drive to Woodland Park for groceries and very central to the areas we were exploring while house hunting.Overall, a true five-star stay. We would absolutely come back. Thank you, Kristen!"
