Wildlife & Surroundings
This home borders a national forest, so wildlife sightings are common. You may see deer, elk, birds of prey, and other native animals during your stay.
You may encounter wildlife, neighboring farm animals, or dogs during your stay. As with any mountain setting, please be mindful and keep a safe distance from wildlife.
Water & Septic
The home operates on well water and a septic system. At times, the water may be mineralized, which is normal in mountain areas. The water is safe for use and drinking, and the home includes a whole-house filtration system along with additional filtered water at the fridge and sink.
Traveling with Children
Families are welcome! We provide a pack ’n play, highchair, toys, books, and kid-friendly dishware. Please note that due to the natural terrain, wildlife, and nearby forest, children should always be supervised when outdoors.
Parking
The property includes a two-car garage and a large driveway with ample space for multiple vehicles.
Getting There
Access is mostly paved, with the final half mile on a well-maintained dirt road. During winter months, AWD vehicles are strongly recommended, as mountain weather can impact road conditions.
