We were in Colorado for a special celebration at the monastery which was only 2.7 miles from the house. It was a perfect fit for the 3 of us. All the comforts of home, convenient to the airport, shopping and restaurants. Hosts were very quick to respond to inquiries and suggested some great restaurants. It was a lovely neighborhood, beautiful view and room we all could have our own space. The home has two long beds which is hard to find. So we each had like a mater suite We ended up having to extend our stay and the host was quick to respond and work with us that took some stress off our family. The kitchen was like a scavenger hunt to locate anything that you needed. We found it odd that there were no condiments (mustard, mayo, ketchup, etc.), no butter (we left a stick), not enough bath towels (one generally sees two per guest - not just one), not all the bathrooms had bath soap. The pantry was interesting - a menagerie of leftovers from previous visitors, I guess. I don't think I've ever stayed at a VRBA where the owner's personal belongings were in closets. There weren't enough trash recepticles - the one that was there was completely full so we had to placw our trash on top and leave the lid open.
