A beautiful home, plenty of space to spread out, and a back yard that will keep your young ones active and happy -- this awaits you if you rent this marvelous property just east of Colorado Springs in the Falcon/Peyton area. Our family of 13 - 6 adults and our seven grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 19 - were together for our 50th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect place for us. Laura was a gracious hostess and even had a neighbor look in on us to see if we needed anything. The neighbor was friendly and fun and welcomed us as though we were family.
The property was a "home," not just a "house" we rented. We felt at home the minute we walked through the door. The beautiful art work and the inspirational and positive messages that are a part of the decor really spoke to my heart. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for us. -- The backyard was one of the things that caught our eyes as we looked at rental property and it was everything we hoped for and more. The younger children played on the trampoline, the playground equipment and the zipline. The older ones had fun with the tether ball and badminton. We enjoyed the cookout on the large back deck in the cool Colorado weather.
The property is beautifully landscaped so we had a photographer come to the home and take family pictures as a remembrance of our time spent there celebrating our anniversary. Laura's home has a nice piano which our granddaughters enjoyed. Our family gathered to sing which was a nice memory. We also enjoyed gathering together in the huge family room to watch the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympics.
If sightseeing is your forte, you will enjoy many opportunities to go places in the Colorado Springs area that are just minutes from this fabulous property. If pizza or pasta is one of your favorites, don't miss Fargo Pizza -- it was great.
I realize this review is full of praise, but it is everything I've said. I don't think you would ever regret renting this home for your family. It is beautiful, it is spacious, and it is a perfect place for children. If you do rent it, I wish you joy -- I know that is just what you will experience.
Thank you, Laura and your family, for opening your home for others to enjoy. As we left on Saturday morning, we all said, "Good-bye, wonderful home -- thank you for such a great time!" -- Perhaps we will be fortunate enough to go there again some day. What a treat!
