Pristine New Modern Bungalow At the Base of The National Forest; 1 Acre of land
Welcome to the Marmot! A New-Construction Modern Tiny House on an Acre of Land at the Base of National Forest. Literally walk to the lake, eateries, or the beautiful hike/bike trails to reservoirs, overlooks, and boulder fields. This 500 sf retreat has a quiet bedroom sporting a King bed, an adjoining bath with walk-in shower, washer/dryer and an open bright kitchen, dining and living room area. There's also a covered Patio with a grill to relax on and take in our spectacular starry nights. The Marmot is a perfect quiet retreat for two. Due to the home’s size, no more than three overnight guests, please. There is only one king bed and a third guest would need to bring a cot, blowup or sleep on the loveseat. Please inquire and request set-up before with us if you would like the travel crib provided or kids books/toys to be put out. Please check the pet fee line if bringing a pet so we can pay the cleaner for the extra cleaning time. Thank you!

Lovely place to stay and escape the crowds. This property was very close to the trailhead for hikes into the mountains or a short stroll to the lake and businesses near it.
Enjoyed our space in Palmer for access down into Colorado Springs area. House was in great shape and even when hot outside, was cool and comfortable. Bed was great and enjoyed wildlife in the yard almost every day.
Property was indeed pristine inside and out. Total serenity on the patio enjoying the beautiful scenery and flowers. Inside was so clean and furnished well. Wonderful four nights stay. Granddaughter lives in same town, so definitely my friend and I will stay again.
comfortable bedding, well equipped kitchen, well designed space had everything we needed. The lake and bike trail closeby were great for cycling and kayaking. away
This property was perfect for my husband and I with our Border Collie. The house was very clean and smartly decorated. The in-floor heating and thick walls, meant we didn't have to run the heater much at all. The nieghborhood was quiet and perfect for taking our dog for a walk. We loved everything about our stay and hope to be able to stay there again.
Very nice and clean small cottage in Palmer Lake. Easy walk to the neat places in town and close enough to CO Springs for anything else needed. The kitchen was nice and all the basic cookware was supplied. Very cozy and relaxing set up.
The marmot cabin was adorable and in a great location with a view - it is in a neighborhood with a lot of dogs barking. It wasn't ideal for our baby to sleep due to lack of AC and darkness, but would be perfect for just my husband and I!
It was a very nice place to stay, conveniently located away from the hum of the city, but still close enough to enjoy. Some darker shades in the bedroom would be nice for sleeping in, and a thicker curtain by the slider door for more privacy is needed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!
Cute, comfortable cabin. The location was very close to restaurants, groceries, trail heads and a small lake as described. We had our dog with us who really enjoyed his first long road trip. The cabin was well suited for the three of us. I would return.
Nice clean place and quiet stay. Really no issues. Had streaming TV but would of liked to have had real TV but I am old. Probably perfect for a younger person. Managed to get streaming.
Pristine new construction with numerous custom features. The well-equipped kitchen, king-sized bed, washer and dryer, and walk-in shower were ideal for our needs. The owners were responsive and accommodating. Adding a handrail to the flagstone stairs and a thicker curtain for the sliding door would be nice improvements. We were fortunate to see the Palmer Lake Star lit one evening.

I ended up not staying because it really wasn’t what I was thinking
I ended up not staying. Thought it was a lake house experience.
My wife and I really loved staying at this place! It’s a great location and the perfect size for two people to be at for some time. The property was clean and stocked with most things that you would need, and we really loved how custom everything was (warm floors too).
The smoke alarm went out of battery during our stay but the proprietor promptly gave us a replacement for it the following day. There were several spiders that made their way into the house during our stay, but this is usually hard to avoid in rural areas like Palmer Lake. Overall we would definitely stay again!
The house was very nice and clean. It was nicely decorated. I was not aware there was no air conditioning and we had trouble with the tv. The stairs were also a bit difficult for me to maneuver. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again in cooler weather.
Great little place! Comfortable! The bed and bedding are awesome, thank you so much. No bugs, flies, spiders, yay. We were there on a relatively cool weekend, but still appreciated the fans which are quiet and very pleasant. The patio is a great place for breakfast and relaxing. Patio is covered and there is a bit of grass, as well as beautiful flowers to enjoy. There is a very minimally traveled road in front of house and patio, but the house is higher up than the road and feels like it is farther away than it is. The neighbors dogs are a bit noisy at times. I know that this is being addressed, and it did not deter us from enjoying our stay. We most definitely would like to stay again.
