Lakefront property. You will enjoy a full bathroom with a very large shower, pantry, laundry room, and beautiful views of Burgess Lake Reservoir. Our favorite area is the large patio with a double swing in which we relax and take in all of the views of the mountain. Walkout lower level 2 bedroom with queen size hide-a-bed in the main living area. Sleeps 6\. No pets allowed. The HOA has restricted water activities and fishing to residents only. The lakefront property was one of the reasons we chose this place; however, upon arriving, discovered we could not use the lake. The lake is for residents only. This is listed as a duplex but it is actually a basement apartment. The owners live upstairs. There are no televisions, no stove, no oven...all items I would assume are standard but not so. The property was super clean and decorated so cute. It didn't have a stove or oven, but that didn't stop us from making thanksgiving dinner. They had everything else you needed to pull it off. It was secluded which was nice to enjoy a quite night and, at the same time, was tricky finding. By "duplex," it is generally understood as two equal and adjecent properties; in reality, the place is a basement conditioned to be an short-term rental. To be accurate, this should be specified in the listing, rather than dugged up from the reviews. Nonetheless, the technicality was not a material for us since the place was in excellent condition, equipped with most essentials, and we did not even notice other people on site. The manager/owner was responsive and accomodating. ##### Diego g. Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2023 Verified ### 8/10 Good #### Jeannette M. 29 Dec 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Christmas vacation It was very nice and what was even better was there was snow i will say that there was no tv and our phones worked outside and the owners were above us another thing was there was no stove or oven but we were provided with a hot plate and a double burner it was a new experience for me to cook on that stuff but we managed and it really was not a big deal to me once I figured it out but I am an easy going person also when it says no smoking I totally get smoking in the house is a no go but what about the porch or outside area I drove down to the road it was not a big deal for me over all it was a great time spent with my family and the owners were there if we needed anything it was very peaceful ##### Jeannette M.
