Great remodeled Downtown Manitou Springs Home Lic#9244

  • This house shares river access and is a short walk from penny arcades, a zip line, shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs. The cabin itself has its own deck just outside the dining area and also has access to the wonderful river behind.The entire home has been remodeled with a new kitchen all new electrical, flooring and new bathrooms.Too tired to cook, no problem! A few blocks walk and you are right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and beverage choices not to mention great shopping and a penny arcade.

Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Remember to get something to put your leftovers in. Clean rooms. Couch could use an upgrade but love the size. No TV’s in bedroom, which would be nice. Easy to get to. Was a little odd to not have walls all the way to the ceiling in the bathrooms. Overall a great stay with off road parking and walking distance to all the shops. Close to pikes peak, caves and gardens of the gods!

Great Place!

My husband and I stayed here while dog-sitting our son’s mini dachshund. We loved the peaceful setting with access to the stream in back. There is both a private fenced area for this cabin as well as a shared area to sit and relax by the stream. It is within a short walking distance to all the Manitou attractions. Inside is clean, recently renovated and comfortable. We would definitely rent again!

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The home is within walking distance of all the cute shops and restaurants in Manitou. It is also very close to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The home is quiet and kitchen is equipped with everything needed. Plan on coming back again!

Cleanliness was exceptional. So quiet and well lit at night if you e been late walking home. within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Plenty of space to accommodate additional guests. We would absolutely come back. Such a lovely little town and such history!

Walking distance to everything in downtown Manitou Springs. Plenty of local restaurants and shops, with a great mountain town atmosphere. House is clean and in good condition. Parking is a little tight, be careful if you have a large vehicle. Right around the corner from cave of the winds & the COG railway, and right down the street from Garden of the Gods & the Pikes Peak entrance.

Birthday getaway

A group of friends and I came out to Pike’s Peak for my 50th Birthday. This place was perfectly located! We did drive up to the train depot but could’ve walked it. We parked back at the property and walked to downtown and enjoyed shopping, dining and the penny arcade! The stream outback made for a good spot to sip some morning coffee. I will definitely stay at this place again!

For Incline Lovers

"As depicted," MOSTLY! The bathrooms are not enclosed to the top, so not very private if sharing bedrooms. The upstairs sleeping space has no door at all. Only separated from the downstairs living space by a very narrow set of stairs. Otherwise, great location, nice parking situation, and roomy kitchen/living areas. Could have used more washcloths in both bathrooms. Enjoy your stay!

Great place to enjoy the mountains of CO but still be walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Clean home with beautiful views. Beds and couch aren’t very comfortable but not terrible. Also, you will not have the property to yourself. There are rentals in the backyard that I guess I missed in the listing. So the backyard is not private or even that useable. Just a warning. Other than that great place.

Great happy hour by the stream

Our house was super clean and we enjoyed our stay. I’d have liked more natural light in the living room, but we weren’t there very much. The stairs going to the upstairs bedroom are super steep in case you need to know that. I’m 77 and really fit, but if you aren’t that might be an issue. It was so nice to spend time down at the stream. It is a shared space, and there are only 2 chairs, so that can be a problem. We had the front cabin, and it didn’t have a stream view but two others had patios with chairs and a nice view. When we got there, there was a couple with a large dog that got very aggressive and barked and lunged at us (bared teeth and all) when we arrived, and it scared me, but they took it inside. We never saw it again. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay.
