I chose your cabin because it was similar to something that my husband and I would have rented. It had everything you could possibly need in a quiet vacation stay. He loved his hot tubs and beautiful scenery which nothing could have beat yours. My Three sons, granddaughter and myself came here at my husband's request his spread his ashes at Crystal lake at Pikes Peak. It was an amazing experience and we will be coming back again next year.
This is a stunning property right up in the hills 10 mins from Cripple Creek.
Everything you need is there and the views are exceptional.
Expect to see deer, chipmunks loads of birds and if your lucky a group of Yaks in the garden!
The owners were helpful, prompt & responsive.
A small warning, the Wifi is really poor (may I suggest Starlink as other remote properties have?)
Also there seems to be on TV stations and we had to use our own Netflix , YouTube and other accounts and they kept buffering during the programmes.
But please don't let this put you of this is one we will defiantly come back to.
Wonderful stay… Great hosts, very responsive, easy check-in and out, stunning home, clean. Had everything we needed! Beautiful location, spectacular views. Magical family vacation. Good attractions within an hour or less.
My family and I had a great stay. The view is amazing and setting in the hot tub, drinking coffee while looking over the valley, was just the icing on the cake.
This place was absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a better place to spend our Christmas. It was cozy and had the most spectacular views. We loved it and hope to go back!
Very scenic, however the large steel building 20 feet away detracted from the experience.Kitchen appliances needed replaced. With a little work it could be very nice.
The cabin has a great view! There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with the basics. The upstairs loft area had the perfect sitting area for me to read and drink my coffee while it was raining. The last couple miles to the cabin are unpaved. The driveway has been washed out. I would be nervous if I didn’t have all wheel drive or if I had a low sitting vehicle. We also saw mule deer every morning and evening in the yard. Overall great stay! Would return!
This place is beautiful and the owners are great with prompt communication. Clean and has all the amenities. The only thing is that the sign turning into the property said Burnage or something verses the actual name of the address so we struggled finding it but figured it out. We will stay again
My husband, dogs, and I had an extended weekend at this wonderful cabin, secluded up on the hill with beautiful Mountain View’s. The weather was beautiful and couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. We walked the property to get some exercise which was so refreshing. The cabin is well maintained, towels, kitchen, bathrooms all extremely clean. The hot tube was also well kept and was always at temperature. We can’t wait to come back.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
I had full intension to leave a better review but the host did not respond to any issues we had while staying. There are safety issues that could lead to an injury just trying to get into the cabin. Paver stars are loose, narrow and no hand rail. Cabin was not deep cleaned, lots of areas needing dusted and cleaned. One light was full of dead flies and a lot of lights had burnt out bulbs. Host has a ring camera monitoring traffic to main door and points directly at the hot tub. We had a full cabin of 8 people and the kitchen table only had 7 chairs. The cabin deck was wobbly which was worrisome. They request you do not wear shoes in the cabin to protect their floors. While visiting we experienced about 3in of snow. Driveway is very steep and needs 4x4 when wet. Host did have someone plow but there was no communication or cleaning of steps to house. A shovel was provided outside but no ice melt or expectations of safety. Host could of had a better review but i am concerned for future guest with lack of response to problems. The king bed is the only really bed the other 2 queens are cheap memory foam beds on cheap bed frames. Lots of natural light and no black out shades which would have been nice. Great views and location but sadly we will not return to this vrbo.
We had never been to Cripple Creek before and wanted to check it out. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We had some car issues and expressed that to them and were able to help book another night to figure it out! Oh no.. another night in this beautiful place… ohhh noooo. Jk. I’m absolutely breathtaking views. The pool table is amazing and of course, THE JACUZZI! We will be back! That’s a promise.
I booked this stay for myself and 3 girlfriends for a getaway for 4 long time friends. We had a wonderful time exploring the property. The hot tub at night with star gazing was some of the best I've seen. We saw so much wildlife- including a wild cat (lynx? bob cat? not sure but it was very cool). We played available board games and worked on a puzzle in front of the fire. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds and linens comfortable, bathrooms were roomy and clean. Truly, a location where it was easy to explore the outdoors, stay in and be comfortable, and a cute town to visit if you can motivate yourself to leave the property. Overall, a highly rated stay and can't wait for my next visit to Indigo Lodge!
