The corridor had a damp smell, and I noticed stains on the bed sheet, sink, and bathroom wall. The room was also very warm, so I had to keep the window open, but that made it hard to sleep because of the loud noise from the taxi stand below. The drivers were playing loud Indian music until around 12:30 a.m., and honestly, it felt like I was in another country. A budget hotel in a good location near the cologne station. The bed and pillows unfortunately weren’t comfortable. The room was small and difficult to get to a comfortable temperature (hot and stuffy with window closed, too cold and noisy with window open). Shower was nice. Good temperature and pressure. The cleaners were lovely. Other staff rude and dismissive. Lots of shops and spots for meals nearby. Everything within walking distance. If you prioritise location, it’s a great place. Man ist direkt am Domplatz und es gibt aus dem Hotel heraus einen direkten Zugang zum Hauptbahnhof. Einziges Manko: die Zimmer waren sehr warm nachts.
