🥨 In the heart of the old town of Colmar, a listed historic monument, the apartment "La belle étape" is a superb 76m² apartment. It is located on the 3rd floor of a quiet building (without an elevator). 🛍️ You will be close to shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as various tourist and cultural attractions in Colmar. 🛏️ This apartment is equipped with two spacious bedrooms, each with 2 double beds and storage. 🛋️ The bright living room consists of a dining area and a lounge area. 🍽️ The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, stove, range hood, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pans, pots, dishes, and kitchen utensils). 🚿 🚽 A bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet complete the accommodation.

🌃 Colmar, a city of art, history, and heritage: Despite the ups and downs of a turbulent history, the city has managed to preserve an exceptional homogeneity of its historic center, which, classified as a "protected sector," has benefited from ongoing restoration and enhancement. The large pedestrian zone in the old town allows visitors to admire the countless riches of a heritage that is as rich as it is varied, ranging from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Whether it is the Maison des Têtes (built at the beginning of the 17th century), which owes its name to the 111 heads that adorn its façade, or the Maison Pfister, a beautiful bourgeois Renaissance house with a medieval design, each of these monuments is unique in its kind. The religious art of Colmar is also very rich: the Church of the Dominicans, which houses the famous "Virgin of the Rosebush" by the Alsatian painter and engraver Martin Schongauer, as well as the Collegiate Church of St. Martin, are wonderful examples of pure and sober Gothic art, with great austerity. While strolling through the streets, visitors are amazed to discover the many beautiful signs, the brightly colored roofs... Walking along the Quai de la Poissonnerie, once the nerve center of fishing and fish selling, one is charmed by this picturesque neighborhood, now called "Little Venice."

🧹 Bed linen and towels, as well as standard final cleaning at the end of the stay, are included in the price. This includes changing bed linen, a general cleaning of the apartment, and the sanitary facilities.

🧹 However, it is your responsibility to clean and store the dishes, take out the trash, empty the fridge/freezer, the dishwasher, oven, and microwave, and tidy up the apartment. If you do not wish to take care of this, you can order an additional "full cleaning" of the apartment for 30 euros before your arrival. If you do not book this option in advance and fail to follow these instructions, a 60€ cleaning fee will be charged.

📝 A digital contract will need to be signed, and your ID will be requested via the Yaago platform after the booking, along with information for the police form, in accordance with the applicable regulations. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten, die Adresse zu finden. Google-Maps führte zu einem Haus, das ca. 300 m entfernt liegt. Der Genauigkeit wegen sollten auch die Koordinaten angegeben werden.Unter der 24/7 erreichbarer Telefonnummer der Agentur konnte man uns zuerst nicht weiterhelfen, wir haben die Wohnung dann schließlich selbstständig gefunden. Nach der Beschreibung im Internet sollte die Wohnung „im Herzen der Altstadt von Colmar“ in einem „denkmalgeschützten Gebäude“ liegen. Es handelte sich aber um ein Jahrzehnte altes Mehrfamilienhaus mit 8 Wohnungen, das sich in einem mäßig guten Erhaltungszustand befindet und mitnichten in der Altstadt liegt, sondern jenseits der Bahnlinie zwischen zwei teils sehr befahrenen Straßen. Diese Beschreibung muß korrigiert werden. Wohnung selbst war wie beschrieben: geräumig, sauber, in einem ansprechendem renovierten Zustand, nach außen gut schallisoliert. Allerdings ist sie dennoch hellhörig, Gespräche aus der untendrunter befindlichen Wohnung sind recht laut zu hören. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster wegen der Geräuschkulisse durch Straßen und Eisenbahn nicht möglich. Zahl der Steckdosen sehr überschaubar; Ausstattung ansonsten gut. Wasserdruck im Bad leider mäßig. Lage des Gebäudes selbst nicht schön, aber sehr nah an der Altstadt, die wirklich in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist, sehr angenehm. Kein garantierter Parkplatz; die Angabe „ 1 parking“ in der Annonce ist daher etwas irritierend.
