Lots of character in the decor, both inside and outside. Doug’s hospitality was second to none and all the amenities that are needed are readily available (snacks included). So convenient to the Texas A&M campus but also located in a very quiet setting (great for sleeping in!!) We will definitely visit here again. It is atop a small barn just far enough away from town to be very quiet and restful. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and I slept like a rock. Doug the owner was very accessible and helpful. My husband and I plan on staying here again and highly recommend to a single or couple. The cabin was super clean & well-maintained. We went to Santa's Wonderland which is a must-see for Christmas season. Pretty close to A&M and restaurants. Highly recommend Sodolaks and Blue Baker. Mickey's Sliders was pretty good. The cabin was secluded but just a few minutes from town. The hosts lefts snacks coffe and even a bottle of wine for us. Over all it was a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely be back.
