Room, grounds and staff are amazing. We ordered a gift package for the room as a birthday celebration, cost of £9 for 2 chocolates is extortionate.

lovely clean modern rooms with balcony! Comfy beds, fab bathroom with powerful shower (: Great customer service. Only negative for me was that the pillows were really hard but im sure if i had asked they would have provided a soft one. Would definately stay again if I was visiting Colchester & I dont often like a place enough to want to.

The hotel bedroom was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you need in the room for a pleasant stay. The staff we encountered all seemed very friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds. We always choose this hotel when visiting our relatives in Colchester.

Really friendly check in (and out), staff throughout the hotel were friendly. Grounds were really nice to walk around, breakfast was nice and having the additional cooked to order elements was great. Room was lovely. Minor feedback would be that the pillows were not great, but all in it was a really lovely hotel.

Had a really nice night’s stay with a 3 course meal each at the hotel’s restaurant and we got an upgrade to a balcony room for £15. Friendly staff and lovely luxury hotel with luxury amenities in the room too. Only improvement could be better air conditioning as the room was still quite hot even with fan unit and ceiling fan
